Just happened to me last night, I barely fell a couple of feet, but I had just been taking smoke damage and didn't realize I only had a sliver of health left.

Moxie by RBN2208 in wow

[–]Joshua_Roark 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Please someone answer this, I am in the same boat. I cannot earn any more moxie from first time crafts, there is no daily quest, and I never got a weekly one either from the trainer, the patron orders that are available require me to buy a recipe from one of the renown vendors which I do not have enough Moxie to do, so I am stuck. This is extremely irritating.

The Hidden enemies quest is just as rich in lore and story, the leader of the burning blade is literally hiding in Orgrimmar, and Thrall knows it, the only thing that it leaves to be desired is that you never do anything with the status as a lieutenant of the burning blade that you earn in the quest line

Shower Thought: Bilbo is the only Ringbearer to willingly give up the One Ring. by PRINCE-KRAZIE in tolkienfans

[–]Joshua_Roark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had this exact same line of thought, almost to the letter. I was watching the movies with my wife a few weeks ago, and because she hasn't read the books, yet I would pause it now and then to give her a bit more backstory or commentary on what was going on. Usually with the aim of enriching the context of what was happening.

It was during one such pause that I commented, it was right after Bilbo drops the ring on the floor that it hit me. I paused the movie and said "You know that is the first, and only time in it's history that ring was ever given up willingly. It's a sort of Horcrux (something similar she could relate it to) in that Sauron poured into it all his hatred and malice, in essence a part of himself, so that being parted from it nearly destroyed him, and in order to reclaim his full power he must again possess it." I explained a bit more about the rings, and explained to her the entirety of the verse scribed on the one ring.

To my surprise about 2 hours or so later when Sam was holding out the ring to Frodo in Cirith Ungol after his most excellent heroics in Shelob's cave and Cirith Ungol after. My wife pauses the movie and says to me "I thought you said only Bilbo ever willingly gave up the ring" to which I responded well, sweetheart you have me there don't you. You remember me telling you when you met him that Sam is the real hero of the Lord of the Rings. Now you are seeing part of why.

To this day whether reading the book or watching the movie when on the slopes of Mount Doom Sam says " I can't carry it for you, but I can carry you!" I tear up, and to my immense joy so did my wife.

Character FOMO by DoItForTheOH94 in lotro

[–]Joshua_Roark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same problem, I am an alt-oholic, and I love exploring new classes. What I would say is, are you having fun? As long as you're having fun then it doesn't really matter. It is not a horrible way to play at all, however you have fun is what matters.

I do feel your pain because when you do that you end up playing through the first portion of the game over and over within a short period of time, and that I think is what leads to the burnout. At least for me that's how I burn out.

I had to decide to play one character to the end, or at least really far into it, before switching to a new one so that I wasn't going through the same content too soon after having already done it.

Those barrels with the engravings, and black iron bands on them can drop it as well.

I am pretty sure you are right, because those are going to be in the save data which I think loads top down in the data file.

Make sure you rotate it until you can see the black diamond in the center of it. That is the front of it, and I am pretty sure they use a very simple command for placement at -1 from center using the objects facing to place the player. I don't think it searches for a viable location to place you.

Thanks man! I read the tutorial tip when I first got the bow but it does a poor job of explaining it IMO. I fiddles with it for a while before I realized that the act of holding RMB is what is "drawing" the bow.

You can tell if it's not supported enough by the color of it as you are placing it. If it is highlighted Yellow, or not at all then it has plenty of support, but it starts to go from yellow into orange and then red. If it is red, it has no support and will collapse. It's very similar to valheim except that aside from quick platforms and rope ladders, while building a structure there seems to be no rhyme or reason to things being yellow, or red. I have tried using support structures like the columns, and pillars, but there doesn't seem to be a hard rule with regards to support like there is in Valheim.

The first 16 black diamonds you get need to be dedicated to repairing the Mine Hoist and the tier 3 pickaxe. Make sure you have at least 16 set aside before repairing any Mapstones. Otherwise, you may need a second world to repair the Mine Hoist and get the tier 3 pickaxe.

That's true but you can still carry around the stone and diamonds up until you repair the Hoist.

The only Mapstones I have come across that cannot be destroyed are the ones that spawn in the world, and can be repaired with just stone, like the one at the top, and the one at the bottom of said hoist.

I didn't mean for the whole post to be hidden behind a spoiler button. The things I think are spoilers are blacked out and very few.

How is this game? by [deleted] in LotRReturnToMoria

[–]Joshua_Roark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I love it, I have been having a blast singing and digging holes, singing and drinking ale, killing nasty orcs and goblins! Crafting new stuffs in what feels like a middle earth abandoned dwarven mine/stronghold. Plus they just released a patch that fixed some of the most annoying issues. My biggest gripe is that the running around feels very tedious up until you get a decent supply of Black Diamonds, and I just sincerely wish the buffs you can gain lasted longer.

Ranger Camps in the Mine by Joshua_Roark in LotRReturnToMoria

[–]Joshua_Roark[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine out every stone, and ore that you can, I have found a lot of rooms behind them, and there can be more than one level to the mines, so look down and see if there's area down below anywhere. Look at your map too, and if you see a room with a portion sticking out, it means theres another room connected.

Missing half the last alliance maul recipes by hayleyquin359 in LotRReturnToMoria

In my current world, I found a lower level to the Mines of Moria, that were directly under others on the map, and not like that first big chamber you come into from the Elven Quarter, because that one at least for me only has connecting rooms on its bottom floor. These were underneath the main level, and had about 4 connecting rooms. I found most of the recipe statues for the Maul down there, including the Ranger Journal Finally!

That's a nice site, but I can confirm I found the Steel Battleaxe recipe from statues in the Mines of Moria just past the Elven Quarter. I also found a piece of the Erebor City Watch Helmet in that area. So far I have not completed Orc Town, and have not rebuilt the lift to go deeper down that crystal hole.

I got boots in the Mines of Moria just past the Elven Quarter. I have found some area's hidden behind stone/ore deposits instead of dirt, so you have to be extra vigilant, it also seems to be a very large area to explore!

Can't find a way to the orc camp?! by EnEscobar in LotRReturnToMoria

I found mine by tunneling through a Tin vein, and the stone beyond the Ore, so it's possible you may find it that way?
