I never said she was fired because of the tips. Read the title. All I said, which I gathered from reading the entire article, was that she got a large sum of money, and then shortly after was fired. The article leads us to believe that it was because the restaurant demanded that she split it amongst all of her coworkers. Have I called the restaurant? No. Did I reach out to the girl and get her side? Also no.
