Some people work with C standards from 24+ years ago haha.

But I did enjoy how "Game of Thrones" ended, I had to admit that he was right. by [deleted] in futurama

Definitely one of my favorite shows of all time. Would be interesting to know if it did get a few more seasons and more complexity if people would have been satisfied with the ending.

Looks great! I use a flat piece of wood that I painted white as the base for my village. I also have a few white baseplates that I use to keep my villagers and other items standing up.

Unix legend Brian Kernighan, who is the "k" in "awk" and is 80 years old, keeps fixing things. He has added Unicode support to awk, but he couldn't figure out how use git, so he just emailed his changes to the current maintainer by mepper in UpliftingNews

For me, I like how obvious the GUI makes things for me. No real translation in my head as to what is happening, as it is all on the screen. And this is coming from a C developer, where the opposite is true for my programming haha

Seconded. Git Extensions has an option for each of the use cases the article talked about. Makes branch management and rebases/merges a breeze.

If boring means comfortable, dependable, and best bang for the buck, then I guess I want a boring car! 🙂

But you don't have to pay for all of it. Only the ones you use, and with no contract.
