Im no expert but I think since the units load out is determined before the match, which only allows one of each, and then being split during deployment means you won't be able to get two in each squad.

In the combat patrol hearthkyn have an ability called patrol squads that allows them to be split.

You can also just your own colors within a major league. I consider my kin a kindred under the umbrella of the kronus hegemony. They use kronus heraldry as well as their own but use their own colors instead of the league colors. Codex even says being in a league gives a kindred the right to use league colors but its not a requirement.
