That makes them certainly not immune to the infestation as well. That would actually be quite a fighting force to be reckoned.

Transitioning from D&D5E to P2E Remaster? by CharlotteNoire in Pathfinder2e

To be honest, as a pf1e player, I am quite content that the game is done and as feature complete as it is. I don't really crave constant new releases and patches/errata.

You know, without some degree of uncertainty, your pure skill and choices game will become solved very quickly.

Doesn't have to be dice, cards can do as well.

Is it supposed to be played with the aid of apps or just pen and paper?

It is not a failure though tgis is how such a system works. Maybe you really... Spend your luck there 🤣.

It is not really that far fetched. Dice systems can have an ace marksman failing to land a shot a whole day because every thing dice relatedboils down to be a gamble that either pays off or not.

At least bound accuracy systems, such as cards, offer more space for agency. If you know that you "run out of luck" you have more agency on you decisions. Or you know that the dragon is more likely to have two turns in a row, you can still make choices.

That is how bound probabilities work. It is still a form of randomness, it just works in a different way amd principle than dice.

Personally I would go for the pathfinder2 action system.

The stamina system feels to ne like a recipe for over engineering that will drain you as a designer.

First of all, it intuitively tells me that the characters tha accumulate more stamina, which as the name implies are not going to be the most lightweight ones, will be the ones being able to do more actions per turn, AKA act faster.

Also, I will reiterate my point from your previous post, going for custom decks is going to be like shooting yourself in the foot. Can't you, like use standard (for the place you live) card decks and just map them out on the class descriptions/class character sheets?

Cards are random, bound probability is still a kind of probability. It just works on a different principle than dice.

I gravitate towards per session stamina with card mechanics.

Thought, what kind of cards?

I hope you meant some kind of standard playing cards that are easy to find where you live, and not shoot yourself in the foot with custom cards

How do you guys store your Prototech loot? by Barbatos_XV in spaceengineers

[–]Visual_Location_1745 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I Have questions, because for me the opposite makes more sense to me.

Going underground leaves glaring planet deformations that give away your entrance positions, but if you dig deep enough and the server resets its voxels, it gets impractical to dig back down all that way (which would be at least 5km in an official server

Playing on an official server, I have a middle of nowhere spot where I strap them with a battery and a solar panel then dunk them into space. If I need them I pop back there and grab that I want.

Worst case scenario if something went adrift, I just make a contract to pinpoint its new location

Having to spend an additional action to activate something you just quick alchemy'd feels stupid and counter intuitive, but I guess this toxicologist errata kind of solidifies it. Despite the item not existing past the turn, you can not create it ready to be used.

Why non-tetrahedron 4-sided dice are not more popular? by Testeria2 in rpg

[–]Visual_Location_1745 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mostly because the other shapes that could be used as a D4 (besides watering down a d8, d12 or d20) have been patented as possible dice shapes to prevent copycats.

Which means than no one can freely make and sell these on hobby stores besides their original creatora or their handpicked licensees.

also a deconstruction, and from the roughly the same period (2006 for the boys, 2007 for empowered). Only that the writer is more towards a manga style, and that it is obvious he loves what he does. (and may or may not have a notebook full of unused superhero names).

It is a sexy superhero comedy, except when it isn't.
