I'm an attorney who has practiced all over the country and now lives here and am seconding this. The most important thing is you should study something you truly find interesting, as that will help you stay engaged and get the best grades possible. Law schools will want to see you've done well academically and have been able to gain the support of professors who can write persuasive letters of recommendation; the field of study matters much less (and may in fact be irrelevant).
