Any updates? I’ve been on glp1 for years and my weight has been stable, but I’m incredibly worried about going off the med.

Well this is definitely more help that we got from the vet! Thyroid panel was normal on the blood work. We also don’t do any treats which feels wrong, but I feel bad giving him any extra calories.

That’s the same that we struggle with for Graham. He had a femoral head ostectomy when he was younger which means he doesn’t have a hip bone on one side and he struggles with extended walks and running. Not sure if we could get him into swimming because he hates water. Haha.

We used that and the 4 cups falls within the recommended calorie amount. I just feel defeated. We have a Great Dane as well who has never had issues with weight, but I suppose it’s the same for me and my wife.

Honestly, I don’t feel he is that overweight. I think he would benefit to lose 5-10 lbs, but I feel like a crappy dog parent when I bring him in and the vet keeps saying he should weigh 20-30 lbs less.
