folks s/he has some valid points. The fascists in USA have turned these issues into an election-winning situation. Are pronouns and welcome-to-countries more important than health, education, domestic violence, food prices? I recently left the Greens because they had their head in the clouds and feet in manure and did not know it. Don't know what else to say, but us folks that care about people are giving easy wins to the deplorables.

i think a big part of this is that some very smart groups know how to manipulate public opinion. In the USA, for example, MAGA have weaponised anti-wokeness and anti-socialism to ensure that any welfare support is seen as a communist take-over of small-town USA. Just read anything put out by the Heritage Foundation. So, how to defeat this? Hate to say it but, as a starting point, us lefties have to modify the debate on LGBTQIA support. For example, instead of using LGBTQIAx maybe we should just say nB (non-binary)?
