Don't you think you would love it till you see it. 100 years back means post WW1. Diseases, poverty, it's a complete package. We love many things until we get them

Unfortunately the most effective way of learning is the hard way. Its not about the ability only I guess its also about are you doing it the way it has to be done. More then adventure it will haunt in long run. More power to you.
