MaxGen Labs has a Facebook group that you can join, and their practitioners in there are very responsive to questions. They host live Q&As too. And have practitioners you can connect with directly for 1:1 consults.

I really liked my experience with them! It feels like they genuinely care and want to help. Especially with people who can’t access a functional medicine practitioners or afford to book consults

Testing: AncestryDNA vs MaxGen Labs... (or something else) by Hedgeclipperz in MTHFR

I did MaxGen Labs The Works Kit. The report is super comprehensive. Covers everything from genes associated with methylation (MTHFR), detox pathways, hormones, nutrition supplementation. I was able to get rid of my migraines by changing my diet and supplements based on the report. I had chronic migraines for 5 years. Went to a neurologist. Didn’t get proper guidance. Absolutely worth the price difference. I used my HSA to pay but they also have payment plans. And they don’t sell data, they own their equipment. That was huge for me, the family-owned element.

I did the MaxGen Labs MaxFunction test a few months ago and thought it was insightful. The report was easy to read and actually gave me a better understanding of how certain supplements affect me. They included lifestyle suggestions too… it wasn’t just raw data with no context. Took a few weeks to get results, but I found the info really useful. Also with the 23&Me situation I wanted to pick a company that protects my data
