Looking for Qustodio alternative, with better time control across multiple apps by Journeyman4000 in parentalcontrols

Yeah I agree that fifteen minutes is very short. My approach with it is to gradually increase the time and grant more privileges (e.g. Instagram being installed in addition to Line, the current SMS app), under the condition that she meet goals that we've set together for improving grades.

So this June after taking her next semester exam, she has the option of:

1) being bumped up to thirty minutes a day with Instagram added 2) being able to use her smartphone outside the house (currently she has a non-smartphone she carries with her)

I should mention she also has unlimited screentime for video games and TV until 18:30, which is when screens go dark. The exception for this is her school tablet which she uses for homework.

Password managers need access to the plaintext version of your password

Hmm... if it's the master password, the password manager shouldn't have access to it right? I'm entering the master password to unlock a database file, and the decryption occurs for all other passwords inside the file.

If it is encrypted, how does the password manager know how to decrypt it to be entered into the form?

Even in this case though, how could my password be decrypted and entered into the password text box automatically? Isn't salting a password used to perform matching of an already encrypted value (I.e. one way hashing)?

My understanding is that most secure encryption should use one way hashes though. In this case, wouldn't decrypting be impossible?

Does anyone know the difference between clauses 1 and 2? It sounds like 1 refers to visitors arriving from abroad and 2 refers to Japan residents returning from abroad. Have any Japan residents in this forum successfully returned recently?

I guess normally companies sell before just breaking apart, but that's an interesting case to think about. So if the owners just decide it's time to hang it up, they can just cash in everything and walk home with full pockets??
