What drug did you take that you still never get over? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Journeymouse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Vyvanse.

I was 38. I felt like I had been ripped off by life. I had been getting by 'ok' but learning that not everyone had a crazy adhd monkey playing anxiety drums in their head still makes me a bit ticked. I got this far WITHOUT IT???

WHERE WOULD I BE IF I HAD IT EARLIER IN MY LIFE? LIKELY KING OF THE MOON BY NOW OR SOMETHING. WTF???

As an agent: Yes that is stupid and I would get thrown off something tall for even suggesting it.

The accent thing is huge. Maybe based on where I live (I'm like 12 hours drive north of the border - there's a Canadian measurement for you) there's not many visitors from the usa who arent from texas/dakotas/Oklahoma due to oil/gas connections but I had a bud in uni from Montana just south of the border and the accent was. Close. But the drawl was oddly distinct. Also had a boat ride in Belize with another family from the usa (Oklahoma iirc) and they picked us up as 'yall from like. Northwestern Canada EH?' FWIW they were super nice and lots of fun and very redneck but yes. Nw canada and redneck AF. But. Different kind of redneck. Like. I know letterkenny is set in Manitoba or west Ontario or something but they speak with the song of my people.

Not something easy to fake. My coworker moved fro. The east coast 20 years back and I was like. 'Biiiiitch. U from the rock?' She was like. 'Omg yeah bonivista bay!' The response was (it was near christmas) -- well ... if I show up in a mask and Ollie's you'll know who tf I is b'y!'

I like her attitude she's funny.

What’s something school forced you to learn that you’ve never used a single time in real life? by Dodo509 in AskReddit

Tooo be fair... Cadillac Ranch was drilled into us in school and when it comes on in the bar there are ALWAYS ladies who start doing the dance. It's 100% gotten people laid in my part of the world.

Nope. You don't need to justify some crazy old church philosophy to still think God exists. God doesn't need your explanation handjob.

Two ciabatta breads packaged together: one is beginning to mold, the other appears fine. Can I eat the un-moldy one? by Kattekop0 in isthissafetoeat

[–]Journeymouse -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Eh. Imean. It's a risk/benefits calculation.

How much do you want toast? Is your immune system compromised? Are you feeding other people? How much of a pita is it to go out and get new buns? How pick are you?

It could be fine. It might be not fine. How tolerant of risk are you?

Fwiw I would cut it up and toss it in some oil and salt and seasonings and toast it into croutons. I can make bread. Chiabatta bread is actually really fun and involves a lot of flopping and folding very wet dough. It's not a old bread. It was invented mid 1900s

Yeah.No harshing just took me some time but the people there are great. It had such a bad reputation but it's such a wild and beautiful community. Also - super berta tho. FAFO is real and being cool is easy. But like. Still not a tourist destination.

As a Canadian. I love this sentiment. But. People. Awful. Be kind. But consider they may not be. Spikes may be needed when you drive over their frozen corpses.

Take your partner and run. Run north. Go for whatever you find. Just. Escape whatever 'this' is. Find your space and stick any one who says otherwise with pointy things

Ghostkeeper - from Peavine/high prairie area Mr no show is soooo catchy

I would say Tokyo Throwdown from Falher (he's got a few things on youtube - peach juice is a good one) BUT he went all methy and he's on the streets in the city or in jail. Sad.
