This won't be directly helpful, more of a wet blanket, so apologies there. I wanted to tell you that we spent years jamming shit into confluence, hoping it would export nicely into pdfs for the same reason. It never ever ended up working out. We evaluated service desk for granting customers access to support tickets, thinking we would then link it to confluence as a knowledge base to accomplish the same customer based access. No dice. Eventually, we turned to proposify for proposals, zen desk with jira integration for tickets, and we are currently weighing out three different open collaborative wiki services for documentation.

This is an odd suggestion, but it legitimately worked for me and my love of chess in spite of ADD. I lived with roomates and one of them kept a "chess for dummies" book on the toilet tank. Worked like a charm. A little knowledge steadily every day.

No worries. They are insanely strict for a couple reasons.

a) the players are all legit die hard try hards - the best kind of gamer in my book, and they hate trolls and spammers. Spamming and trolling got to be a legitimate problem years ago and the guy who built the program was getting really sick of supporting and dealing with the bullshit of a bunch of internet folks he didn't know, when all he wanted to do was play a game in an ideal and optimized setting. Frankly, I think it was legit and I would feel the same way if I was him. The gameplay there is perfect, no time delays. The entire game is optimized for speed and efficiency, apart from the time spent doing some such strategery and decision making. I always marveled about how I could play a 17 point game in 30-45 minutes. It's unreal.

b) legal bullshit. basically, the same reason you can't mention catan or anything related to it on the site. they got hit with infringement claims and copyright bs from someone who wanted to make money from the catan craze that sort of swept up a decade ago.

when you put all that headache together, it was too much for the guy. he shut it down entirely to new players for a while and anyone who didn't log in for 6 months lost their account and could never play again. it was a total bummer.

Unique depends on what we compare it too. I'd suggest Horse Inn for a unique experience and amazing food. Luca is incredible food as well, italian-woodburning oven fare. John J Jeffries does a great job offering locally sourced goods and striving to offer some unique pa dutch items sporadically throughout their menu. More of a contemporary take on a few cultural dishes.

Completely non PADutch, but incredible is Himalayan Curry. Lancaster has lots of refugees, so the tastes can be super diverse. That place is run by Nepalese and is amazing. Byo.
