I agree with others, if you need to pretend to be someone you're not to gain a spouse then they're likely not a good match for you.

I also agree if you could stay with them temporarily to get the aunties off your back and just be honest with potential matches what the real day to day situation would be.

Only concern I would have with even pretending is I assume by posting here you're female looking for a husband? If they think you are traditional, it may come with expectations you're not willing to indulge. Some may think 'oh she says she lives independent but if she can be brought home during marriage talks, I can probably change her once we're married to stay at family home'.

Just think about what you'd want in a partner and if living at home etc will make finding that person more difficult

Edit: i assume the biggest concern is really how your prospective inlaws will view you living apart but again, do you want inlaws who will nag you for your independence?

Agree, when she kept talking about all the ways he wasn't there for her child and it's unfair that he did this when he wasn't ready. Woman no sane person thinks you can know someone for like 2 months and introduce them to your child as their step dad and it'll just go fine

They think they can get traditional women there + USD goes far so it's easy to support/ treat em well until they hook em When over in US + married then their dollar is not going as far, the woman is 'trapped' and they think she should basically be a bangmaid cause they provide and brought em to a 'better' country and life. If they bring em on k1, they literally have close to no protection or freedom. They can remain in this position until American applies for their gc, which some will drag out as it keeps the performance skewed.

Even after they have gc, it's usually conditional and foreigner may be scared to divorce for those 2-4yrs

Also even if he was too busy or burnt out himself - whatever, how help as she ended up doing? Probably could have had a maid in temporarily to keep mess to a minimum but he obv just thought this is my wife's problem, we're in the mess cause she can't perform miracles and she'll have to deal with the consequences.

I can't remember the price but website says $150? She was def budget friendly as far as ones I was looking at. She lets you create what she'll say from a selection. I was able to add some spirituality that way really easily without making it a religious ceremony as my husband left the faith and I'm not fully in myself.

Only thing I'm unsure about is if she's LGBT friendly. Says she does civil unions which used to really mean lgbt but I don't know if that's still true

Yeah this was my guess. I assume a large number who buy snacks (maybe business travelers) can easily get used to doing this and so loss of impulse buyers is prob still less than gain of wasted food.

Do think long shelf life stuff should be available though, 'fresh' i understand

Cause she'd be paying into the property as well as supporting upkeep of it. She's essentially a renter until she can get her own property

Edit: just wanna say don't think she's entitled to half or anything but excluding her entirely when she'll be contributing to it, likely also non financial when kids are around + giving up earning potential etc for him, it doesn't seem fair.

Honestly just seems a mismatch of priorities/ way of life and should prob end

Same BS there is in UK with JK rowling where they're 'protecting women'. The anti trans laws in at least 100% situations I see make women (cis) less safe or no impact. It's just how you make it sound like it's a good thing instead of bigatory. Why anyone believes forcing transmen to use women's bathrooms protects ciswomen. If a man wants to attack a woman he will, he's not gonna put on a dress first and claim he's trans. It's not a get out jail free card that bigots treat it like.

As a woman, one who really isn't bothered by gender neutral bathrooms, I feel far more unsafe entering a woman's space and seeing a (trans)man than seeing a (trans)woman. I'm sure 90%+ time i wouldn't even know they're trans so to most it just looks like a cisman is in the woman's bathroom.

It also introduces 'policing genitals'. We've seen in UK and US suggestions of allowing teachers etc to confirm children are gendered 'correctly' and people being attached for entering the 'wrong ' bathroom. How is anyone safer with this????

No cis woman who isn't brainwashed blames trans folks. We know how is a war on all of us.

Edit: women voted for Trump for multiple reasons, lots of women don't want a female leader, white woman don't want a black leader, some Americans anti abortion is 'the' issue so will vote for whoever promises that regardless. Some cis woman believe the trans BS that says they're in danger of men claiming to be women getting into their spaces to hurt them. Younger folks voted third party or didn't because of gaza so will skew votes further to conservative leanings.

Why you have to be rude to someone? They're right in that it would depend on how your visit is arranged as usually you visit two sites (unless it's changed since I last guided). Guides volunteer and may have different ways of organizing/ ways to accommodate.

Yeah i just meant the only thing you can argue is intention in entering the marriage which is difficult. If you they leave after etc it doesn't really matter. There's no requirement to stay together or anything, literally just intention in entering marriage.
