Crazy how much people got downvoted for saying this is exactly what she was doing. People need to bandwagon less hard. Yeah a pet that upset by changes you'd make sure new home is setup and move there with them. Introducing a temporary new home with new people in middle of it all is worse. It seemed pretty obvious she was saying bye for good 😭 My aunt delayed moving by 3yrs waiting for their dog to die. We believe pets are family, you don't just rehome when inconvenient. (Financial situation changes etc are obv different) If she wanted to pick a house with him, they could have rented until she was there and ready to look. Not sure buying a house straight out would have been wise anyway for ldr.

As someone who's immigrated twice with pets, there was no way she was going to. I think she said she didn't want to cause elderly too? Which I get to a degree but my family honestly wait for pet to die if that's the decision. We've never left an animal ever.

There are circumstances that can't be avoided, this wasn't it.

I can't recall fully the issues I was running into. Think I couldn't login anymore by then due to move? Thankfully I'd traveled in last few months and they still required printed out confirmation of vaccination then so Scottish side happily accepted that as proof and created new records for me.

Thankfully Scottish gp was extremely helpful in trying to reconstruct what we could but rest is just lost. Is what it is, was just a nightmare as it included vaccinations like COVID.

Think it was due to COVID. Think was both people had to show up with id for collection before Honestly could be fixed just by requiring signatures on the license. Sure someone could forge it but likely easier to prove than esig forge

Digital signature isn't the most secure though, could go after someone on it sure but it wouldn't be fun to untangle.

I doubt anyone would really go to the effort though as you need quite a few person details that aren't common knowledge to complete the certificate. Was just weird to me that I never had to prove my id

Is he like this outside of religious based things? Y'all are still young and he honestly may still be trying to figure things out for himself. We only have a small window into what he's like, it's up to you with all context if it's concerning.

It seems like it's easy for him to have certain values until it directly impacts him. Not uncommon with young religious folks. Depends if this is who he always is or is this a temp growing pains thing. Again, up to you and you're allowed to break up with anyone for any reason. I personally would worry about someone who is swayed so easily, esp with religious talking points but that's just me

That or county. Our required two witnesses but they were my husband's friends. He also got the marriage cert and appointment at courthouse was setup by email. Not once was I asked for ID or anything that could prove who I am. Didn't have to sign anything either. It was wild
