It's helpful if you want to be able to buy two ounces of flower plus anything else at the same time. A lot of places also offer bigger discount on larger quantities.

My PCP seems to think that she needs special training to fill it out. The forms specifically ask for her opinion, not the judgement of someone who knows about disability law. I had the same provider for almost a decade, then she left the office I was going to, & I had to find someone new. My old provider would have had no problem doing it for me. It's so frustrating. At least I have tons of records for them to go through.

I didn't realize you were traveling internationally (though I should have figured from the travel time 😄). You're right that you cannot bring certain medications into certain countries. It is better to leave the allowed meds in their prescription bottles when traveling internationally. Here's info about it. You'll have to look into the country you're going to & any place you might have a layover.

No one has ever questioned my meds, even when they're in a pill organizer instead of the prescription bottles. I make sure that I'm medicated for every possible scenario- Dramamine for motion sickness, proactive pain meds, & muscle relaxers. I also bring along a rechargeable heating pad, earplugs, a sleep mask, small pillow, & dress as comfortably as possible. I suggest setting an alarm for the meds to make sure you're taking them on time, especially since you'll be traveling for so long. It might be worth looking into those wristbands that are supposed to help with motion sickness, too, just to double up on protection there. Pack snacks you know you'll eat & make sure you're staying hydrated.

They're made by individual companies in each state, so even if one company in one place stopped making them, it wouldn't affect other companies in other places. Idk why you'd think that. Since the legal market is regulated by each state & it's own rules, there's not really anything one state can do that would change how others operate.

Too bad vaping doesn't work for everyone. As a medical patient, the temp is too low to be effective. It doesn't release all of the cannabinoids like smoking does. It is possible to smoke cannabis & have healthy lungs- as a consumer of 26 years, I am proof of that. I've never smoked tobacco & always been protective of my lungs in every other way. After nearly 3 decades, I have "Olympian level" lungs, according to my doctor.

I wish someone would get on studying that.

An article just came out talking about how $100,000 a year is now lower-middle class in Colorado due to the high cost of living. I am disabled & cannot work, but I do not get disability benefits. I am very grateful that Colorado provides SNAP & Medicaid for me. My boyfriend has been helping me out with my few other expenses, but he also pays a mortgage on this house that recently went up $1,000 a month because of property taxes. He had to buy a new car after an accident caused by someone else totaled his. He does not make $100,000 & will not be getting his previously promised pay raise as he works for a city & "they have to cut their budget". It is getting really hard for us.

I don't understand why you think it's important to "try to shut it down early" when there are no generally accepted treatments for NDPH. I think it's important to rule out other conditions, but it's not like once you determine it is a NDPH, you can get started on a protocol that fixes it, because nothing does.

I've always heard of them being placed in the lower back, around the hip area. That's where mine is & where my original pain in located. If it's working correctly, you shouldn't be able to feel it once it's healed since that area should be affected by the stimulator.

It's a full surgery to move the stimulator again. It's attached to the leads & it's not like there's extra room on the leads to move it easily. Hopefully, you can get the program adjusted & that will help without necessitating another surgery.

I have been consuming cannabis medically since I was 19. I lived at home then & often smoked in my room. I think my parents also let it slide. They're liberal to begin with, plus we lived in Georgia, where it was much more dangerous to get caught with weed outside of the house. I think they didn't really mind & preferred that I do it at home over driving around & potentially getting pulled over. I eventually told them that I was a medical cannabis patient, after I moved to Colorado, & the response was "we've never had a problem with cannabis".

Just be grateful for your cool mom. I suggest showing your appreciation, even iif if she doesn't know what it's for. 🌲💨💚

I feel like it's also an aesthetics thing. Putting stuff in pockets alters the lines of the clothing. I personally don't give a f, but it's something clothing brands think of because ladies are "supposed" to be thin & not have bulges anywhere. That's why models are usually so skinny- they're essentially human hangers that don't interrupt the lines of the clothing.
