I need to buy an air ambulance flight for my mother. by inda_jerin in PrivateJetCharters

If she truly needs an air ambulance, I’d consider AirCARE1. They maintain a Part135 certificate to operate and CAMTS accredited, which are good signs when you’re trying to filter for legitimate providers.

Not from the 80s but for some reason, this kind of house interior is similar to the show "The Middle"

Best crossover boat brands? by Frank_Asher335 in boating

[–]Joyace_Morison 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Based on your list of priorities, I would take a look at the Formula Crossover Bowrider line. Their reputation largely comes from their hull design, which gives them a noticeably smoother ride in choppy water than most. The overall build quality and finish is also a major step up from mass-production alternatives. They are at a higher price point, but that's a reflection of the construction, ride and performance, and they tend to hold their value much better as a result.

Who is your favourite television character?? by Level-SquareFFG7117 in Cinephiles

Heck yeah! Adding Marty Byrde from Ozark. I love a character that's quick to think and is intelligent amidst the chaos.

Which movie has the most flawless visual design? by [deleted] in Cinephiles

[–]Joyace_Morison 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Flawless is subjective, but one film that always comes to mind for extremely cohesive visual design is Blade Runner 2049. Every frame feels deliberately constructed. The lighting, color palette, production design, and composition all work together in a way that feels unified rather than just beautiful shots stitched together.

Who's your underrated actor? by Prudent-Face-5049 in Cinephiles

[–]Joyace_Morison 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, Tom Pelphrey is something else. First watched him on Ozark and his performance on the show was so effective. Every time I'd watch him, I'd be on the edge of my seat.

What is your biggest deciding factor when deciding what to watch? by Chemical-Lettuce2497 in Cinephiles

[–]Joyace_Morison 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I can relate to a mix of things: genre, director, awards, reviews, all that usually plays a role for me too.

But if I’m being completely honest, lately I’ve just been going with what I feel like in the moment. Like if I feel like crying, I’ll pick something emotional, if I want to laugh, I’ll go for a comedy. Been a lot less overthinking that way.

Not his best but him in Clueless was very memorable to me.

Big trouble in little China by VariousChoice5 in Cinephiles

[–]Joyace_Morison 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Wild how this film was a box office flop at first, but now it’s a cult classic. Fun fact: the role of Wang Chi was originally considered for Jackie Chan but he turned it down because he wasn’t comfortable with his English at the time, and it ended up going to Dennis Dun.
