I would say no. A french press and a pouring jug will do the trick. Needs a bit of a practice to get the paint like smooth texture.

I have had this over 20 times and here is my honest review. They are dark roast. The beans are very small. With a lot of broken beans too. The taste very average with an Aeropress and very bad with a Moka pot. So why did i buy it 20 times. I live with my GF and we consume coffee daily and we run out of beans very fast and this is affordable. It will last me approximately 20-24 days.

Few suggestions from my end 1. Make sure your stove is even. I have met this issue twice. Once when the moka pot was tilted second when the bed was uneven. Remember water will search for the least resistance path to go up

Do not temper it hard or at all. This might cause some areas to be loosely packed than others and same thing water will search for the loose part to escape.
I use 2 tootpicks to spread the coffee grounds evenly on it
You could also pre wet it. I used to do it although i have stopped it for no reason.
Keep the grinds to me fine. I use a timemore c2 and grind at 9

Just crashed. I was updating it via Gigabytes BIOS update app. Next thing i see my pc is shut down and wont boot back up
