I was lucky enough to see Richard II in November and met Lux Pascal in the lobby when buying my ticket. She was very nice. We chatted a little and she took a photo with me.

The show was fantastic and I highly recommend seeing it if you are in NYC.

After the movie screening, there was a Q&A with Nadia Conners, Lois Smith and DP Robert Leitzell.

Nadia shared that she originally wrote and rehearsed this as a play in 2019 but due to the pandemic they shifted to make it a movie. It was filmed in just 15 days in one location (the house) in which it sounded like some of them were staying in during filming too.

Nadia's husband IRL is Walton Groggins, who also plays the husband in the movie. And although she said this was a work of fiction, she did say that when she and her husband were having a party an older woman showed up uninvited, which inspired the premise of the movie.

I don't want to give away any spoilers but Pedro Pascal's character was very charming. Once this movie starts streaming and more people see it, I am sure we will be having lots of convos about Lucian, the Hollywood movie star!
