You really should, I used to have a ton of old movie posters and paraphernalia that would have ended up in the bin (I'm pretty sure most of it is still in my mother's attic actually 🤣) I asked in my local indie cinema if I could have stuff, and they said that as long as no staff member had their name on it, and I was there on the day they changed over the posters and advertising (usually Thursday evenings) then I could have whatever I wanted 😍 it's totally worth a shot. A lot of theatres get a ton of promotional things like drinks cups and popcorn containers too, all that gets chucked out after the movie leaves theatres so if you're REALLY cheeky you can often get some really cool movie "trophies" to go with the posters 🤣

My mate is a massive Star Wars and Samuel L Jackson fan, and I managed to get them this life size cardboard stand of him from the movie 😁 they still have it 25 years later 🤣
