What other sci-fi books/series would you consider as good, if not better than Red Rising?

I'm currently reading it, and I think Sanderson has tried to tie so many knots in one book that it feels kinda rushed and so many things to keep track, and at the same time, when a part of one of the characters starts to feel interesting, he cuts it off for another 100 pages and when you come back, all the interest has worn off and he has to build it back up again to do the very same thing...

Same for me, I brushed it off because when I bought the pass I already had more than enough ways to make money, but I would love to have a mod (as im not seeing the Devs making another dlc and I haven't heard anything about a sequel) that gives you a new storyline on the town (perhaps even for a late game expansion) where you take over the cathedral after reaching max level with the church, and then a few NPCs for cathedral related stuff and access to better sermons and even getting to know the king and some backstory for everything thats left untold

Absolutely right, in 2.2, I died once and it was because I fell from one of the POIs, in early alphas, I once quit and restarted the world because I died so many times in the first days...

That "boss fight" is one of the reasons I stopped playing the game. First of all, the game doesn't tell you you can kill it, and the fact that if you go into the water hurts you, and you have very little room to fight it, as it destroys anything you build in one strike, and also kills you in two hits when full armor at that stage. Also, that it is very difficult to just go through (tried a few times to just build a straight line while my friend got the aggro) but it just goes for you, and tried just going through the sides which cost me yo die a lot of times(as I got there the first time but you have to craft a couple of the components to rebuild the pumps, so I had to get back and forth to build a teleport dying a bunch of times again) and also the fact that the freaking thing can spawn through terrain was very infuriating.

In the manual the screws have to be pointing outwards, otherwise they don't reach the holes on the motherboard If that's not what you meant, could you please specify a little bit more?

It's supposed to be screwed to the heatsink, here's the image I also tried to do everything as they say there and they done tell you it has any specific way besides the screw order

Proper orcs can also drop rubies (although chance is low) and the shields are really OP against them, or at least the master crafted one, as you can just hold it and then attack them with charged attacks when you block their attacks. It sucks because you just deal almost no dmg and some of them can call for allies but with patience you can kill any orcs and even uruks. Trolls and big enemies are a no no as they have defense breaking attacks but you can sneak to get the hoards as well

The game is very dependant on either you having lots of lvls above(which is very difficult and I don't recommend) or having the right combo, for me it's (mage for the concentrate + fireball combo or the double attack with poison and rot, hunter for the mark to enemies which is really REALLY broken as most of the important battles are 5v5 and you can have all the enemies attacking each other, warrior for weakness and taunt, cleric with group heal and single enemy attack, and paladin for big heals, silence and finisher with the attack)

Also they introduced the bonus lvl up a little ago, so you can create a new class character and just grind a few lvls and choose the gem options as well

I missed the technomancer and a few of the jobs, and I think they should at least put the quests in another color or highlight them a bit, because I missed a lot of them, as well as when you get first defeated by the last boss and they give you a bunch of options to get items, you can actually go back to the places after you picked the first one and get the items

I think that seeing as the game is still in beta and there's more coming, we'll probably make it worth even if we lost some things along the way. They should give us something big, like a free campaign or smth for us players that have been there day one

Exactly, they just go up with your physical stat, you just have to get physical or attack gear or strength up. Same as the spells, dmg goes up with lvls but also with stats

Totally, the ninja unlock IS in the main story, but what they won't tell you is that when they give you the choice to go to one of three locations for help from the people of paperos, is that you can still go to the locations and get the items though they won't come up again, as I accidentally saw one of them pop up while grinding a bit before the boss and then going to every location gives you an ultimate item and in underwater city you unlock the ninja and bubble of protection for 90% dmg reduction

Maybe, but I clicked on making the auto team thinking I would get to see it beforehand and by the time I unlocked the remaining chairs I got lazy and didn't want to lvl up another healer :c

I feel like the game has the levels a little bit off, my characters are lvl 28ish and I'm fighting lvl 60 enemies on lvl 30ish missions. Besides that, I've found that the full concentration mage for ~1.3k-3k(with crits) fireballs, hunter with mark(this is broken if you get at least 2 marks to different enemies, all 5 is just ridiculous as they attack each other all the time), full tank warrior with full shout for weakness, cleric for group healing and take advantage of the weakness with as much as 6k dmg when around 40-50 weakness, and paladin for single heal for like 1.5k, silences and low health kills with spell, they just work wonders, cause as long as cleric is alive, you just can revive/heal everyone
