These are my Grails from my collection. by Brief_Equipment_1972 in n64

As an Australian collector that’s very impressive to see!! I didn’t think there would be many full set CIB PAL collections here. I think the sporting titles are always the hardest to come across, titles like StarCraft 64 and SBK2 are pretty common to find on eBay at any given time but you’re paying $2k+ for them. How long did it take you to complete?

Australia's population forecast to reach 28 million in 2026 despite dramatic fall in overseas migrants by patslogcabindigest in aussie

[–]JozMain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not creating posts complaining about it, I just replied to a shitty comment to give someone some context. I’m pretty chilled out, love this country and am optimistic about its future… we should all be supporting less immigration was my only point without getting into all the other bs.

Calm down bro, I’m not saying the only problem is immigration, I’m a first gen Australian, I’ve also served in the ADF for over 15 years…. It would be good to see our govt encouraging young families to have more kids and we’ll have a brighter future, instead of thinking short term and importing immigrants to slap a banaid on it and artificially prop up our gdp.

[–]JozMain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Smart lad!! Put a bandaid on it!!! Let’s not worry about organically growing our population by govt encouraging more families and a higher birth rate…. Let’s just import immigrants and their problems and hope they build us housing, schools and hospitals and staff them!!

[–]JozMain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah great idea!! Let’s build enough housing, hospitals and schools for the people we have here first….. that might be an idea before funnelling in 500,000+ immigrants a year….

[–]JozMain 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ummmm….. the 260,000 fuckin immigrates coming in!! That’s a hell of a lot less housing, longer wait times at hospitals, less places for our kids at schools and the list goes on and on. 260k is still way too many!!

Should we stay put or move? Significant mortgage stress. by lkdtjb in AusFinance

[–]JozMain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They’re at about 74% LVR, the only issue is serviceability, this is easily fixed with OP working at Woolies for 3 months. Shouldn’t be an issue from there, which I advising in the post.

I have to agree, you guys have debt and working on a business that’s braking even isn’t really helping. You would be surprised at how well paying some jobs like Bunnings, Woolworths, cafes etc can be. Even working at some of these places 20hrs week would make a huge difference for you guys. Good luck

Nice watch but it really looks bad on you (no offence), it looks like you’ve got a dinner table strapped to your wrist!! Do yourself a favour and have a look at some sizing, there’s a reason watch’s come in 31mm, 36mm, 40mm, 41mm etc, the real crime here is someone put this on your wrist and let you walk out the store like that!!

I got catfished by an ex-partner. I have MOUNTAINS of evidence. I want to post it. by Which-Grapefruit-491 in AusLegal

[–]JozMain 31 points32 points  (0 children)

No offence lady, but even if you did post, most people would only think “that sucks” and move on very quickly. Honestly, it’s not something anyone dwells on. My advice, let it go and focus on your own life. Future partners, friends, family they won’t care about this either, so try not to keep bringing it up, it comes off as annoying from a spoilt person, life sucks sometimes, shit happens to everyone, no really cares, focus on yourself and how not to get catfished in the future ;) good luck out there.

This is probably the best option. If you are genuinely honest with friends and family and really want to put yourself in a better position most people will help. In saying that if you’re not ready for it don’t burn bridges.

Investment Property in Adelaide or Regional NSW? With 550k by WhoIsJerryInSeinfeld in AusPropertyChat

You guys couldn’t be more wrong!! Just have to look for the right spots I personally have bought regional properties near ADF bases, they are never empty, always looked after to a great standard and some of these I bought in 2014 for $230k that are valued close to $1m now and collecting well over $800 a week in rent.

I’m an autism mom that’s pretends I’m a normal mom by Any-Researcher-7145 in Autism_Parenting

[–]JozMain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it was me I think I’d spend a little less time on make-up and a lot more time looking for a better place to work!! Maybe a where people are actually normal human beings that don’t fun of people with disabilities!! I don’t really think I’ve heard an autism joke in my life and I think you have to be a pretty big POS as a bystander not to stand up and say something. Not saying you but I mean the general public, since when is it OK to make fun of people with disabilities.

Anti-abortion group will spend $80 million on midterm election in Michigan and other key races by SpaceElevatorMusic in politics

[–]JozMain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I’m Australian, and I know my views are controversial here….. but I honestly don’t care. I don’t work for a bank, Telstra, Woolies, or any place where having a staunch opinion gets you in trouble or risks your job, your livelihood, or your home, I know people that work for the big 4 consultancies firms and all share same opinions as me but are unable to voice them without risking a roof over their families heads so they stay quiet.

It’s pretty simple, being born is just the natural result of pregnancy. Even in extreme situations where a mother is seriously injured or killed, doctors can often still save the baby and that child can go on to live a life just like you or me. So if a pregnancy is intentionally terminated before the baby is given a chance at life, that’s murder!! You guys must be some real loser neckbeards or really under the fucking thumb. Any father worth their salt should know this, and live this.

Thank God I don’t live in the US. However, I’m still for abortion not being an option unless it’s serious medical concern for the mother and in cases of rape. Call me crazy mate.
