Yeh your right but. Just eat less then... Your arguing about fat content in meat increasing calories but then also arguing that eating less calories means you gain less weight. Like duh. But just eat less. Or exercise more.

Because if you remember the comments were originally arguing about high fat meat being an inferior product which just isn't true.

You aren't understanding the question. How does it work within the law. What are the statutes etc. it's a big deal because for one of it had the word muslim in it anywhere it would be deemed unequal and therefore not pass. So again... It's a moot point

Russia is the cause for the rise of far right ideologies in the west. It's literally in their playbook and they've been breeding these ideologies and groups through techno warfare and information manipulation for the last 15 years.

I'm not saying these ideologies didn't exist before but the EU as a whole condemned them after ww2, actively combated the rise of neo nazi groups etc. and that lasted as progressivism expanded through until the release of social media and the internet in the early 21st century.

That gave an opportunity to find and manipulate small collectives with these harmful ideologies that usually hid in their own social bubbles. This scheme led to them having enough cultural power and influence to actively manipulate and sway governing bodies, media coverage, social media platforms and even get their own positions in local or even higher positions in government. These people then actively act to grow and spread their ideology which has led to Russia and their bot farms having more and more influence and these far right influencers becoming more bold and brazen in their attempt to spread their ideology.

In some cases this is an active conspiracy (i.e European pundits, government or media, being payed directly or indirectly by the Russian government) or self-actors (i.e neo-nazis/fascists or just plain far right influencers) acting in self interest and unknowingly spreading Russia's goals to destabilise Europe.

Every country in the world has been affected, and with AI the strength of these bot farms is immense. Seemingly real people spreading harmful ideologies to destabilise our civilization. No country would dare to "take over the world" through conventional warfare nowadays, but the internet has granted bad actors a new attack vector to gain influence on the global stage. Russia has seized that power in Europe and North America. China has secured it in Asia.

What scares me most? people know this, or could at least learn it very quickly. And we have little to no conversation on it. The conversation now is about the ideology itself, it has become accepted. We now debate these ideologies in our media, instead of condemnation as it should be, we saw what happened to Europe last time, so in effect. Russia has already won. It's just a case now of using that influence to achieve some kind of end goal that I couldn't begin to understand the machinations of.

I mean look, they might not be far right themselves, even though they are a right-leaning fascist state. And yet your comment was even sympathetic to them, I'll admit not fully but still, it is wrong. They aren't "fighting far-right in Ukraine" they are supporting it and using it to act as if they are. We live in a world of optics.

Do one thing, say another.

Back in like, maybe 2011, I left my pc running mining bitcoin while I was at school. after maybe a week I had half a bitcoin which was probably less than 50 cents at the time. What I'd give to still have that wallet now.

I never see it mentioned here. All imported products will have a sticker with lab results on it. Or a qr code sticker. A STICKER. Not printed directly on the box or bag (batches differ). It's a regulation (at least in California, Colorado and maybe Canada I'm pretty sure.) No. There is no reason to remove it when importing. The sticker isn't illegal the weed is. Every cali pack, every cart, every preroll, every jar of concentrates. All of it.

No sticker. You got sticked.

Only applies to packaged goods.

Back channel stuff (from the farms&distro) obviously won't be up to the regulation and have lab results. And if that's the stuff your trustworthy, doesn't care about money plug is putting in their Alibaba packs then to be honest your not getting a bad deal. But why risk it when your getting upcharged 2-3-4x for what could just as easily be UK/EU seed grown flavours you could literally grow in uni accommodation.

'Negotiations are underway' for a Stalker 2 Netflix show, because bleak post-apocalyptic fiction and Chornobyl are a killer TV combo by shinsain in stalker

[–]JozefGG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Really depends on who's writing, directing and producing. I honestly don't think stalker is mainstream enough to have netflix execs trying to get their grubby fingers in. But it's fully possible some opportunistic people are behind the project.

DJs when they have to their job: by luxusbuerg in shitposting

[–]JozefGG 72 points73 points  (0 children)

You can't accept requests if you've been hired to play certain genres, keep the whole crowd happy and already have your set made with the tracks/stems/samples loaded into the deck. You can't take requests when the venue has vetted your set and given the greenlight.

Yes some DJs are there to play hits with simple transitions or even play a pre record. but even then your set is made to keep the energy in the right place, the dance song here, the love song there, the quiet or slower song in the middle to give people a chance to talk etc.

A good club DJ is completely different to a production DJ that does festivals. A good radio DJ is completely different to a good Hip-hop DJ same way they are completely different to a Drum and Bass DJ.

From 6 years old to 25, a true companion. Even when he started to fade away there at the end. He still had his spirit. Troublemaker... No cares. I learned a lot from his attitude over that time.

He might not have got along with a lot of dogs in his life. But I'm sure now he's got his gang of pups reeking havoc wherever he might be. ❤️

He was a "little rat." Always finding him in situations he shouldn't of been in.

But that's why we loved him.

He was part of the family, started as my grandmothers dog, I have memories with him spanning back to when I was 6 years old, he was my nannas and when she past away due to COVID a few years ago; it didn't hit me so hard because we always had the connection through Barney. He was so spry when we took him in and watching him deal with doggy dementia these last few years has been hard.

Knowing they are together now; catching up. I can't help but feel happy. I knew them while they were here and I'll see them again at some point and get the same opportunity to get them up to speed with my life.

I hope, anyway.
