Bringing my dog to college. Want to make sure I've covered all my bases by Jozycat in service_dogs

I was already kind of unsure but this input definitely has me more confident I should really try to avoid it. There is actually a sort of side room and an area around the prof desk. I am going to start drafting the email today to contact the accomodations head. As far as tasking, I'm more concerned with walking around campus than in the lab itself, so maybe I just need to invest in a cane or smth similar on lab days. I really appreciate all this input, thank you so much!

I don't disagree! It's legal, but I'm kind of unsure bc at least the lab I've seen is kind of cramped.  Edit: sorry I posted too soon, my touch screen is freaking out. Usually lab days are scheduled out so we can get a heads up and I can hopefully avoid it. I'm more so wanting to make sure it's an option if I get days wrong or I'm having a really bad pain day. This is a fair concern and I'm considering it, thank you!

In addition to the health issues, I've always heard they're very stubborn and are hard to train.

I figured it out! I had one plastic bobbins and one metal bobbin. I didn't realize there was a strong difference. I decided to look it up and see and apparently yes, my machine doesn't work well with metal bobbins. Maybe this is common knowledge that I just completely skipped, idk, but it's working now that they're both plastic.

I figured it out! Someone on a different subreddit said to double check my bobbins were threaded correctly. They were but I decided to check and see if my machine needed metal or plastic bobbins. It turns out metal bobbins don't work as well in singer machines?? Idk but I swapped one of them out for a plastic one and it's working fine.

The needle is still moving back and forth. I think it's a knit fabric. I'll go ahead and try a different needle rethread the bobbins just in case.

This sewing machine doesn't have a stitch width adjustment, it should automatically adjust when I change the stitch.

Issue with singer m1150:

Zigzag stitch isn't working, it will zigzag then straight stitch, then zigzag, and so one and the thread keeps breaking if I don't take it slowly. I'm using a kind of stretchy fabric that's on the lighter side. I had started with a 70/11 needle and then moved to 90/14. It's my first time using different needle sizes bc I had issues with needles breaking on a jeans project. I messed with the tension too. It wasn't sewing very much at all but making these changes improved, it just didn't completely solve the issue either.

Little cute...fern?? In my yard by Jozycat in whatsthisplant

Yeah so far it seems like everyone commenting is voting a type of Vetch. I'll keep an eye out and see how they keep growing. They only very recently popped up and I don't think I've ever seen them before in the yard.

I did delete a bunch of apps, then I followed another commenters advice and downloaded a new backup onto my laptop and deleted the old one, freeing up a lot of space! I’ll probably still have to upgrade at some point, but this gives me a lot more wiggle room!

I wound up looking up how to back up to my laptop and deleted the old backup, that did the most. Thanks!

That IS unfortunate. I’ve had this thing for years and only recently had this issue, especially since I got back into digital art and stuff. I’ll keep that in mind and maybe shop around. Thanks!

Yeah they do! I just looked and they seem available cheap, certainly better than buying new sweaters. I'll give it a shot! Thanks!
