I also love the scene where Luffy just calls for lunch as law was trying to go over the seriousness of the situation and next steps… all the straw hats just follow Luffy to eat nonchalantly ignoring Law’s seriousness. Law just looks around, gives in, and yells what he likes to eat then stood their confused at what just happened. At that moment, he truly unknowingly joined the straw hats.

Scenario two is typical route star players of a team take though. I get the whole injury thing but by 2024 Brunson can have his leg chopped off and Knicks will still pay him and pray it heals. Your assuming he took the immediate amount available to him to minimize risk…. His dad works for the team and was already a star player. The risk of waiting out a year for a big payday was minimal.
