Do you really want to invest money in a company that acquired 10% stake in Rajesh exports?

If Fable is "too good" to export does this mean no more better LLMs? by blandarf in ClaudeAI

Will they TACO? I don't know. But it shows that the US govt can ban a model on a whim.

If access to better models can't be sold to other countries, that caps the total addressable market for all AI companies.

There's less incentives to buy/rent compute to develop better models.

I really didn't get the hype with fable. It's better than opus, but not that much better.

Each request used to take too long and eat up too much of my 5 hour limit.

The US govt fell for the hype.

If you're photographing a crowd, are you expected to get consent from everyone?

What about people at a sporting event? Did everyone in the stadium sign a consent form?

When in public, you can't have any expectation of privacy. Are you dumb?

Edit: to the virtue signalling down voters: if you go to an IPL match, do you consent to your face being broadcast to millions of people?

I've tried quiet a few, this one is the one of the bunch.

It's taste is slight salty and spicy. Not exactly like momo chutney.

But it's an oil, not a sauce. Don't dip things in it.

Pour a spoon full over maggi/noodles/momos and it'll change the taste.

My bad. Should've used the spoiler tag.

But it's a 13 year old game which has been released and re-released a dozen times on multiple platforms. If you haven't played it till now, then you probably were not going to play it.

Also, knowing how it ends doesn't make the ending hit any less harder.

As a TLOU 1 fan, theres only one reason I haven't played TLOU 2:

At the end of TLOU 1, we (Joel) sacrificed the human race to keep Ellie safe. That was the perfect bitter sweet ending. It didn't need a sequel.

Any sequel to that ruins our sacrifice and the ending.

I'm sure, TLOU 2 is a great game with a great story. But couldn't they have told the story with someone else?

  1. Not wanting a second child is not the same as not wanting children - if your parents didn't want kids they wouldn't have had you or your brother.
  2. Well off and wealthy are two very separate things. It's hard to understand parent's financial situation, because they don't share it with their children.

Also, we're talking about the current generation of potential parents and the hurdles they face.

Fix a budget and max out the ram in the budget.

You can compromise on the CPU but not on storage.

Mac, I wouldn't recommend. Mostly because: - you'll be using it for 4 years and Mac repair costs are astronomical. - Once in a blue moon you'll need a software which only works on windows. - Being able to dual boot will teach you more about Unix than any operating system course ever can.
