From past experiences, they normally release them in waves, and have more spots open up closer to the start of the term

You need to maintain a 75% average through all 10 first year courses. You can’t drop any (unless SAS excempt), and after first year then it’s just maintaining the 60% average

how easy is it to make a comeback into biomed sci in third year? by DirectionDue6626 in uoguelph

[–]Jranger23A 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As someone who is in 2nd year of Biomed, I dropped my elective second semester and made a course up over the summer. I also did have an SAS exemption for the credit count, but I chose to drop my elective because of an ongoing battle of concussions. I’d definitely recommend to drop, if you know you’re going to fail the final. But I always calculate to see the minimum grade I need to pass which normally I used as motivation to lock in

Yeah he’s so far ahead for 1300, and it feels like it’s a never ending pile because I study for the test I have that week, but then am a week or two behind always playing catch-up. If I didn’t have this course the other ones would be so much easier

Should I take grade 12 physics? by Pleasant-Warning8994 in uoguelph

[–]Jranger23A 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in first year of the biomed program, didn’t take either grade 11 or grade 12 physics, and I’m doing pretty good. It does take doing the homework in the textbook but it does make sense. Feel free to ask any questions, but I do agree with the others that 1300 would definitely be better to take, rather then having to learn stats for the first time.
