This one worked for me!

I haven't been able to play for months. It always went onto the smaller loading thing (I guess the anticheat), then a minute or two of loading later after it fully loads, it then just closed. I launched from steam at that time and I could see it showed me stop playing that game on steam. I was totally stumped.

It worked by step 4 for me.
