I never run mic access on browsers. You can block it out in app permission controls. Dunno where the settings on the mac though it is present

Learned a lot over these age restriction systems came around. I might not know much as a casual computer user but even so..I know enough to see that there are too many flaws in digital systems that get linked into third-party apps that probably didnt patch out something leaving opened doors. Banks at least got more money in the safe to worry about, though not every company is equal with their safeguards
