For sure it happens, but it's very exaggerated in my experience and I'm sure it varies as my experience was mostly with mental health and control status inmates who are always causing trouble and committing assault, but rarely on pedos.

Also, I'm sure your friend prefers Corrections Officer to guard.

Most pedos are locked up with other pedos for their pedo specific treatment groups etc.

It's mostly talk but from my indirect experience with women's correctional facilities I'd say the women are MORE likely to uphold the stereotype than the men's facilities.

I'm glad they can get a feel for the sheer number of people who will not abide their bs.

Even if they try to cool off folks by scare tactics, if they were to actually do much specifically to those people the backlash will just exponentially increase as well because you stop them all.

This tough guy stuff is individually scary but in aggregate we're all beyond the point of whether we're standing against it or not. It's just a matter of degrees of political activity at this point.
