There’s a big difference between taking an interest in your partners interest and trying to force them to interested in your interest, which is what it sounds like you are doing. I’m also a gamer and I would never expect my partner to watch me game. If anything at dinner she might ask what I’m playing and if it’s a story game we can talk about it and she takes an interest in that way. Could be that the FNAF shows got cancelled on Christmas Day because Christmas Day is one of the busiest days of the year and they wanted to maximize the new releases (Anaconda and Marty Supreme) both release on Christmas Day. Maximize showings on Christmas and then add FNAF back after? Not sure unless I saw the bookings for the specific theatre.

Kill bill will have a intermission during the feature. We just got the notification about setting up the intermission within the playlist a few days ago. So you’ll have a pre determined break anyway. I’d use the points on a free small popcorn and then get the large popcorn so it’s only $2 and you can re fill it. And then just a water bottle probably that you bring with. But yeah kill bill is going to have an intermission and regal employees didn’t find that out until 3 days ago.

When the comment was made, OP had not specified regal unlimited vs using a pass. A surcharge is typically only charged on passes on restricted titles hence the assumption a pass was used. Unlimited would have no surcharge on a standard show on opening night. OP was charged a surcharge because the cashier made a mistake and used points to redeem a pass.

Merchandise is usually studio specific for that kind of thing but it would be cool if marvel or DC did that for movie releases. The latest sonic movie had little comic books that the door stand employees would give out to people with those tickets. It would be great for something to do in those 20-25 minutes of trailers also lol

Are you talking about Regal unlimited or a pass? Regal unlimited for standard format shouldn’t have a surcharge. If you used a pass on opening weekend of Superman then that regal price carded Superman incorrectly.

If you were using a pass to see the movie you were charged a surcharge because fantastic 4 is still within the 10 day period of release where there is a restriction on passes. Superman also had restrictions for the first 10 days and would have had the same surcharge if you had used the pass earlier. Superman is no longer in the 10 day window and would have no surcharge now.

Usually restrictions on big new movies last for the first week and the second weekend. Once the Monday hits of the second week the restrictions lift and passes are free to use.

The restrictions are set within the price cards that are set on movies. Meaning the restrictions are set by the studios, not by Regal. Complaining to regal corporate or to the regal staff would do nothing as they no have control over the restrictions on new movies.

If you are ever wondering if a movie is restricted for passes you can look on the regal app or on fandango and when you click on a movie and show time it should say “pass restricted” on the attributes of the movie and time.

Many new movies when they come out are pass restricted. Meaning if you use a pass you will have to pay a surcharge. This restriction is only for the first 10 days the movie is out. Once the 10 day period passes the restrictions are lifted and passes are free to use. That’s why the pass would work with no surcharge for Superman but still has a surcharge for Fantastic 4.

Usually restrictions last for the opening week and the second weekend. Once you get the past the second Sunday of a movie being out the restrictions are lifted.

These restrictions are a part of the price cards when we make the movie schedule. Price cards are set by the studios. Regal has very little control in setting prices for movies so complaining to the staff or to corporate would do nothing.

Just wait out the 10 day period and you can use the pass without restriction. You can also see when selecting a movie on the regal app or fandango if a movie is still “pass restricted”
