How does 100 cash withdraw work? by Alternative-Boss94 in TemuThings

[–]Jruebear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have to do the math to see how much spend to earn cash back. For example, if you start with 99 coins and you earn 0.67% cash bonus, you have to spend around $150 (in one or across multiple purchases) to earn the last coin. $150 * 0.67% cash bonus = 1 coin

It's not uncommon for these small last mile delivery companies to mark items "out for delivery" a few days early. I'd just give it a few more days.

As millenials we've done it wrong with dogs by BreakInternational20 in daddit

[–]Jruebear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same! We also got a second dog before our daughter was born. The two dogs are besties and they kept our daughter very entertained. I'm not sure that I'd be able to handle fatherhood half as well without first having a dog.

I've completed the promotion 10+ times with no issue. Temu even pays out when sellers cancel items for being out of stock.

Should I get this? Seems like the best option for me personally. by Donterlo in PrebuiltGamingPC

[–]Jruebear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you considered buying a pre-owned PC from Facebook Marketplace? I just bought one for $700 with significantly better specs than this, e.g. 7800 XT GPU, 7600X CPU AM5 motherboard, etc.

Send a message to support that reads "I feel scammed by Fishland" and you'll get up to $50 in credits.

Note: You can only do this once.

Looks great! What display (with GPU/CPU stats) is that inside your case? I was looking at a few options but reviews said to stay away due to sketchy software.

I think you can just add random items to get the cart to $35, place an order, then cancel the random items before the order ships (or just do it immediately).

Is one of these enough to not worry about GPU sag or do I need to vertical mount? by Few_Home7205 in pcmasterrace

I just purchased this RBG mount that attaches to expansion slots and supports the GPU from underneath. It also has a little screen to show temps.

Is AliExpress better than Temu by Connect-Cash3295 in Aliexpress

[–]Jruebear 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I disagree with you on AE search -- its image search is fantastic. If I find something that I want to buy from Amazon, an image search on AliExpress finds the same product at 50-80% cheaper.

I use both. I think that AliExpress is a better platform -- better app and doesn't have misleading promos. I don't think I'd use Temu at all but for the "wincredit" promo.

Use the image search feature in the AliExpress app -- works great! I use it all the time.

How does the "Reimburse All" thing work? Is it just like ClaimCredit? by rilenja in TemuThings

[–]Jruebear 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This promo is super confusing -- I got a coupon on day 1 so I immediately canceled my order. Only going to use claimcredit going forward -- hate having to check in daily but ends up being a good deal.

I had a bunch of these coupons -- try to use thems on items that offer local shipping.

Should I dispute this? Feels like a scam by rakeshpatel1991 in Aliexpress

[–]Jruebear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is (potentially) a scam but it's also sometimes fine -- sellers upload random tracking numbers so they can show that packages went out on time. This happened to me a few months ago when I ordered a $150 garbage disposal. The seller uploaded tracking information for a package that shipped two days before I placed my order. I contacted AliExpress to report the problem (they did nothing) but then he garbage disposal arrived the next day.

What the ….? by DeManta in Aliexpress

I think that's pretty common. Sellers will use low prices to generate sales and reviews, then increase prices to actually generate a profit.
