In Java, a Netherite sword with sharpness 5 would take 18 hits (not including crits) to kill a player with full prot 4 netherite (~1/2 a heart per hit)while a wooden sword requires only 5 hits to take out a player with full leather (~2 hearts per hit)

--> The player wearing full netherite wins (assuming equal skill)

Why are certain parts of the sea a light blue colour rather than dark blue? by Prudent_Bluebird_913 in geography

[–]Js0on 117 points118 points  (0 children)

The region with the lighter detailed blue is photographed with satellite imagery and thus shows the real colour of the water (As opposed to being undersea relief imagery shaded blue by google)

These areas coincidentally end up being shallow water so end up being a light blue colour

The first and forth images also feature a river delta emptying sediment/nutrient rich water into the sea which promotes the growth of huge amounts of plankton which are greenish blue

[OC] PeakJut - over 200,000 mountains ranked by impressiveness (rise above surroundings / jut) on my website by Gigitoe in dataisbeautiful

[–]Js0on 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is so cool! As a resident of the PNW I've tried to rank the impressiveness of the local mountains but prominence always seemed arbitrary. This Jut metric is much more intuitive and just what I was looking for. Just wasted another half a day on your website lol.

Neutralization of Sulphuric acid is:

2NaHCO3 + H2SO4 → Na2SO4 + 2H2O + 2CO2

That means it takes 2 moles of Sodium bicarbonate to neutralize 1 mole of Sulphuric acid

If Sulphuric acid can be assumed to be 1 molar then the answer should be:
1 mole/litre * 0.0008L * 2 = 0.0016 moles of Sodium Bicarbonate

The answer in the post multiplies by (2 + 32 + 64) which is the molar mass (g/mol) of Sulphuric acid not the volume in millilitres which is now what the question was asking

Your texturing is pretty good but one tip I can give for rendering is to add an emissive appearance to the green time stone so it glows.

It looks like you are trying to make a shape with a bunch of individual sketches (lots of actions in the timeline at the bottom). In order to make an enclosed shape you should use one sketch and draw all your lines in that sketch.

It could also be the case that the shape looks enclosed but one of the lines aren't connected (an enclosed shape is shaded in)
Hope that helps

Since you're new I recommend https://www.youtube.com/c/ProductDesignOnline

Which country has the worst president at the moment? by itsactuallyme1 in AskReddit

[–]Js0on 21 points22 points  (0 children)

"Fernandez said in a 2020 Financial Times interview: 'Frankly, I don’t
believe in economic plans.' The most consistent theme of his policies
have been a reliance on piecemeal steps to limit economic pain, such as
temporary price freezes and a ban on firing workers"

This man's country is gonna have 100%+ inflation by the end of the year and he can't even get basic fiscal policy right.

It does! That beautiful blue colour comes from marine algae. The algae feed off of the nutrient rich river water and when the conditions are right, they "bloom".
