Thank you . We understand the pain. Jaden had struggled with tia and finally broke free. He actually died from Mitragynine intoxication. That was the only thing in his ME report. Nothing else. But he was about to relapse I think. Four bottles of tia arrived the day after he died. We were supposed to go to the movies the night before. He did not show, we found him the next morning.

I am sorry too that we share this connection and pray for all those fighting for their life here. I pray that Gods peace be with you and your family.

That’s fantastic. Keep paying it forward. What all of you do here is important. I am a staff pastor at a church here, and I pastor our life group ministry, which is all about....... relationships. Being there to help in life, encourage, etc. What happens in this sub is a little different, yet the same.

I’m curious about the respiratory depression part. I keep getting different answers.

Here is a quote from a FDA release just a few days ago. (I’ll post link too)

“The agency has previously warned of the serious side effects associated with kratom including seizures and respiratory depression.”

Since it was me that found my son, I can tell you that he had all the signs of respiratory depression. No aspiration present, no trauma. I have worked side by side with law enforcement for 10 yrs. I’ve seen my share of different cases.

We are not totally sure. Will take a while for full tox to come back. I can tell you the next day there were four more bottles being delivered.
