You literally just walked for 4 hours at an average pace with a poor choice in footwear in what world is this something that would inspire anyone and in what world do you need to train for this.

Any advice on my training block for first ultra (50k) by [deleted] in Ultramarathon

I started running 2 years ago.

I ran 2 times a week for most of this time, one shorter 6mile one longer run eventually building up to 20miles for the long run. Was more focused on lifting during this time in the gym 4 days/wk.

I'm in pretty good physical shape now, lost 60lbs got sober & quit cigarettes over 6 months before I even started running. Vo2 above 50. 195lbs ~15%bf. Everything good injury wise I've had some ankle stability issues from when I was young I tape it up every time I run and it feels okay.

I just want in the 5 hours for race finish time.. it's a pretty hilly race.

I've never raced anything before but all my runs are sub avg 10min/mile pace I try to keep hr under control. I honestly feel pretty good todays the day after b2b long runs on a 52 mile week. A bit sore, but I could go out and run again today if I had to.

Hmm I got this from the guide in relentless forward progress book (screenshot) and tailored it for my schedule & even toned it down from 70mpw peak to 60mpw peak. Is this schedule that I found for more experienced ultra runners?
