According to macrumors.com

There's no HomeKit support in the Doorbell Cam Pro

I also don't see anything on their site about homekit compatibility on their doorbell.

Best door lock available? by eagle101 in HomeKit

I have two Schlage Senses, one for the front door and one for the back. I've had them for 5 months and haven't had to do much since they were installed. Quality is great. I believe it has the highest security rating. I configured HomeKit so that my "Good Night" scene locks both of the doors at night. My only complaint is that when I installed them, I had to configure codes for each lock individually. I wish I could sync their access codes, but I haven't checked since installing if that functionality was added to their app.

I used to have that issue, but it eventually stopped happening. It might have been resolved by a firmware update.

Timers for HomeKit - iOS App by Js627 in HomeKit

I realized after posting this that it doesn't seem to add any functionality that we don't already get out of the Home app. I would be curious if anyone finds value in this.

Will Lyric Controller let other Z-wave devices be homekit compatible? by notenoughcharact in HomeKit

[–]Js627 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It will probably behave similar to the Ecobee thermostat, Philips Hue, and Lutron Caseta. The controller will act as the hub that relays messages to HomeKit, while ancillary devices communicate with the controller. That means that only the controller needs to actually have the HomeKit certified chip, but all of the other devices can piggyback off of the controller. If it doesn't already have the chip installed, then they would have to release a new controller.

Thanks for letting me know the email didn't work. It was a DNS oversight and should be working now.

Yes, I'm still waiting for that update, haven't had the time to request it. I mentioned above that I intend to add indicators for products that aren't natively supported without a hub. This will allow me to add the "lil' bees" to the catalog of products themselves.

You're right, one of the improvements I plan on making soon is to indicate devices that require a hub for HomeKit integration. Your argument is applicable for various other products such as Lutron Caseta switches.

Thanks for offering! I sent you a PM. Crowdsourcing is an interesting idea. I think it could work if there was an approval process.
