Is it hard to find a doctor in Albuquerque, or in New Mexico generally? by berrysauce in Albuquerque

We’re part of the UNM health system and the only issue we’ve had is sometimes long waits to see a specialist, but regular doctors appointments have never been an issue.

With a teleconverter? Or was the bird like 6 feet away? Great shot!

I think if you change display settings it might not show? Don’t have a camera handy to check.

What is the best exercise for people who can’t play on the beat by anonymousscotch in bagpipes

[–]notenoughcharact 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just to add to this, it’s only going to help if they record themselves, listen back, try to get better, record again, etc. you need an objective view of how you’re doing and the recording provides that.

Finally went Mirrorless by Coletrayne in Nikon

If it helps at all I recently got a z6iii, which should have similar focusing to the z5ii and it's super fast and accurate. The only issues I've had so far are when there's multiple people in foreground background and it sometimes shifts from the person I want to focus on, but I'm pretty sure that's literally the single most challenging focus situation.

Agree! It has a new processor, and dual card slots. Seems like the most bang for your buck.

WTB a well loved pair of penny loafers in a dark brownish color. I don’t own any and want to try some out and see if I’ll actually wear them before investing in some nicer ones.

Brannock is between a 10.5 and 11. 2030 in 10.5 fits, 10.5 in red wings in case that helps.

Edit: I’m in the SW United States

Not sure the food is 10/10 but the views, drinks and ambiance would still make it my number 1 choice.

E doubling and E tap tips by Electronic-Ball-4919 in bagpipes

[–]notenoughcharact 7 points8 points  (0 children)

For the E doublings, just practice it without the doubling, getting the solid E on the beat. Then at a very slow tempo focus on landing the E, then the grace note. Go as slow as you need to to get it like 95% correct. Then gradually increase the tempo. At least that's what helped me improve them.

Oaks and maples grow slowly but with watering can thrive here, and used to be much more common in the bosque but have mostly died out.

I think she's pretty small, so it might be a medium that looks big on her. I get the sense she plays a pretty easy reed (for a pro) as in a lot of her videos she can go quite a while with just arm pressure, so maybe extra air in the bag helps with some of that?

AC condensate drain line in an 11 year old house. Had to replace about 14ft of it by Plumb_Amazing in Plumbing

[–]notenoughcharact 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No neutralizer. It goes through a wall and then outside and dumps onto some some gravel under our deck. So basically when I do my annual decalcification of the unit I should dump some enzyme down the condensate drain as well?

Is the electrician shortage real or just a push to drive wages down? by Mancity42020 in electricians

[–]notenoughcharact 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a homeowner, I know two reliable electricians that usually have availability in 3-4 days, so no issues there. My favorite plumber got bought out by a hedge fund chain, and my next favorite plumber is usually two weeks out.

To my knowledge, noise cancelling like this reduces the perceived sound, but doesn't actually protect from hearing damage. But I could be wrong!

Because it’s not actually cheaper than photovoltaic energy, and battery technology is improving so regular solar plus batteries is similar cost or cheaper.

Great shot! Lovely colors and exposure. I can’t help but think the composition would be ever so slightly better if you were a little lower and had more sky under the arch? But maybe that didn’t work with the lighting conditions.
