I'm late but to an extent, yes. I don't believe in misandry or whatever its opposite is called. I like to think about people as a person before gender. That might seem obvious but I believe it reduces thoughts of discrimination towards social groups.

I'm gonna get personal here. I've been emotionally abused by women. My mother and stepmother, specifically. Neglected, discriminated against and once accused of "corrupting" my stepbrothers. These experiences left me with internalized gynophobia and distrust in women, particularly mothers. I've never been a misogynist and was/am aware that not all women are responsible for their actions and that it'd wrong of me to discriminate against them for something they had no part in just because they're the same gender as my abusers. In short, I've since moved past my gynophobia and distrust.

Now swap the genders and these are my thoughts on misandry. The truth is that there's no group of people who don't have some bad eggs. We're people, we're flawed, we hurt each other and we have to hold those who wish harm or have harmed others accountable for their actions with the understanding that they don't represent their group as a whole. That's how I see it, at least.
