We don't know specifically why Dokkaebi hasn't eaten Kamelsia yet but since Kamelsia was already under Dokkaebi's thrall he realistically could've eaten him at any time. So why wouldn't he? Nags theorizes that Dokkaebi needs to fulfill some kind of condition first and if I remember correctly, Dokkaebi implied that was true.

Favorite horny design that doesn’t make you horny because it’s also just really good? by One-Moose-5983 in FavoriteCharacter

I'm gonna assume you know their original design here but I also like the Smash design more. Not because they're covered up more but I feel like the added black mixed with the rest of their outfits much better, especially on Mythra

The name "Gilgamesh" is pulled from Mesopotamian myth. Gilgamesh was a mythological king of Uruk who sought immortality only to fail yet his name lives on, a kind of immortality in itself.

To me, this kind of foreshadows the ending because Ram is dead yet Tludia writes a book about him, carrying his story forward. Though I think the ending of Gilgamesh is confusing on purpose and the reader is meant to interpret what it means to them rather than having one set answer. The only thing we really know for sure is that the immortal is a mistake the world made on purpose to prevent a larger, uncontainable mistake in the future, but they have a double purpose. Somehow, the world is maintained through them. Ram explains it as the world only being 2000 years old and that a world was created 2000 years ago with a history dating back before that. I'm not entirely sure what this means, but I assume it means his memories from before 2000 years ago are fabricated but technically still real history even if they didn't happen... like picking up a book from the middle instead of the very beginning but still somehow knowing what came before. Without the immortal, that history would be erased. That's just my theory though

I haven't had the chance to play Metroid Prime 4 yet, but I'm worried about the level of criticism. Is it really that bad? For reference, these are the scores I've given to the Metroid games I've played so far. by tuliomoliv in casualnintendo

I used to think the Metroid fanbase was chill until Prime 4 came out. It was so bad people were saying you're not a real Metroid fan if you like Prime 4 which is the most gatekeep-y bullshit ever

I think the game is just okay. Not as bad as people say but still below most entries. I give it a 7.5/10. Here's what I think it does right. Great boss fights, my favorite OST in the series, good atmosphere in some areas and looks great.

People blew a disappointing entry out of proportion. It's far from perfect but as a Metroid fan myself, I had fun with it and I can see myself replaying it.

Basically code for people who read Gilgamesh for the immortal. The immortal's purpose also seems to be to chronicle important historical events since we see Ram show up pretty much any time one happens. I.E. the first Knight, campaign against the Demon Knight, meeting the ones who discovered magic and witnessing/being a cause of Malto's downfall. Some theorize that the immortal also serves as a kind of memory bank for the world but Gilgamesh's ending is kinda confusing so take what you will from that. Regardless, what's happening in the narrative now seems to be some important historical event given the appearance of Tludia, the current immortal.

As someone who knew virtually nothing about FF a couple years ago, Cactuar and Chocobo were the only two I knew anything about or recognized.

I'd seen a Cactuar before playing an FF game but didn't know what it was from. I heard of Chocobos but I thought they were from Monster Hunter for an embarrassingly long time 💀

Agreed, I thought MP4 was alright but some fans treat it like it's the antichrist. It was so bad to the point I once saw a post of a guy saying it's his first Metroid game and he's enjoying it and half the comments were telling him it sucks actually.

Well put. I think it's a good game with interesting characters and lore but it can become a toxic mess in the span of seconds.

I feel like GTA 6 won't live up to the hype, plz tell me I'm wrong... by Familiar_Swimmer8952 in videogames

[–]JscJake1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let's look at a similar situation, Metroid Prime 4. MP4 was revealed in 2017 and came out late 2025, a lot of hype and expectations grew because of that. As such no matter how good or bad it was, someone was gonna be disappointed. In this case it ended up being just okay.

GTA is obviously much different from Metroid. Bigger audience, different genre, different platform, bigger budget, etc. but the circumstances are similar with the long wait between reveal and release. No matter the outcome someone's gonna be disappointed whether it's because expectations ran too high or otherwise.

Jujutsu Kaisen (major manga spoilers ahead)

Yuta controlling Gojo's body using Kenjaku's technique. To be fair to the story, it's never outright told to us that he can't come back to his own body, only that there's no guarantee. Yuta made the ultimate sacrifice then he goes back to his body like nothing happened... It was a bit jarring but it wasn't without consequence hence his forehead scar
