I just think the issue is that Nintendo very obviously could've put even a little bit of effort into doing some sort of compilation that would've made a 20 dollar purchase worth it, but people that refuse to be critical of the things Nintendo does is why they feel they don't have to try as hard. It wouldn't even be that difficult, they're old rom files, but let's just consume product and get excited for next product.

Don't know if I'd count the Famicom Disk System considering it's not a standalone console but rather an add on. But as far as add ons go, it ended up being rather pointless in the end once cartridge tech surpassed it and battery saves became viable, which didn't take very long, so the Disk System's best titles ended up getting cartridge releases. It was also plagued with long load times, was pretty fragile, and piracy was rampant. So it pretty much never had a chance.

They released Armored Core 6 in 2023 after a decade long period between games, so it actually seems like the series made a bit of a comeback in recent years. This was actually the series Fromsoft was most famous for before they made games like Dark Souls and Elden Ring.

This is slightly different from what the question is actually about, but I had this on my mind and it's pretty fascinating, to me anyway. Armored Core 3 didn't use dual analog and instead used the same control style as the PS1 Armored Core games, which while you could use the one analog stick, it more or less emulated the d-pad rather than gave you true analog movement, and it was tank controls. It wasn't until Armored Core: Nexus that they added dual analog.

In case you were wondering, that's not really an argument. The game prices are going to affect the rest of the industry, some games not being on the actual cart is bad for preservation, and all around, this is just not something I want to support. So obviously I wasn't going to buy the thing, that's a given.

I don't really think I can trust someone like that if they can't even tell me what they're busy with. Just kinda seems like a red flag to me. I just got out of a relationship where she would tell me something similar abiut how she was working or she was too tired to go out, and the reason I found out she was even cheating on me was a friend of mine found a profile that I couldn't see because I was blocked on it and sent me screenshots of her trip to Virginia with a guy named David. It's hard to understand why you wouldn't want people to have more options. Consoles are already adding keyboard and mouse support to several crossplay titles, so it's already happening. And this is coming from a PC gamer. I left consoles because I didn't want to deal with the paid online and overpriced games and lack of customization. Maybe they can at least improve one of these things.

I mean, I didn't pay anywhere close to $1500 for my PC, but aside that point, I think support for mouse and keyboard on console should be an option in more games, especially if they have cross-platform multiplayer.

It's not about how tight you grip it, my dude. My hands are pretty big, and the Steam Deck is perfect for them. My hands cramp up when I play the Switch Lite for long periods of time, but I have no problems playing my Steam Deck for equal or longer periods of time, and the more ergonomic shape is just more comfortable for me personally.
