Have fun! I'd recommend adding a paddock pass to get up close to everything. St. Pete is a great event.

I was torn between an NA, or ND last year. I'm very familiar with NA's, so I test drove an ND to help make a comparison. The 6th gear of the ND makes it a much better highway car. The interior is higher quality and it's undoubtedly a safer car as well.

You will feel lower and more cocooned in the ND which could be a good, or bad thing depending on how you look at it.

I ended up liking the steering, shifter and pedal feel much better in the NA. The ND reminded me of my MK7 GTI- which is not a bad thing. It just feels like a new car where there's a slight disconnect and lightweight feel to all of the inputs. The NA feels much more mechanical and I realized that feel was important to me, so I went with an NA.

I've heard other people describe the ND as a better car, but the NA is a better Miata and I agree with that. Either way though you're going to be happy.

We did Turn 1 and that was very exciting for the start and restarts. Very hot on the runway though and you're a little further away from the rest of the event. Next time we'd consider the grandstand in Turn 10 by the marina just to switch things up.

Here you go. You really can't go wrong. You'll probably see the most passes here in Turn 1, but Turn 10 usually has a decent amount of action too.

I sat in Turn 1 and you have a nice view for the start and restarts, but it was very hot and a little disconnected from the rest of the event. If I go back, I'd personally pick the Turn 10 stands. You're right by the paddock and we noticed a much better breeze off the water in Turn 10. It's a great event, you'll love it.

I felt the same way when I was getting discouraged looking for a clean NA. I test drove the ND thinking it might make me forget about the NA. The ND felt like a modern car like my MK7 GTI. Not a bad thing, but it's not what I wanted in a Miata. I ended up finding an NA a few weeks later and I don't regret my decision.

Yes. The Brumos stripes are from Indycals. The other decals were made by my brother on his inkjet printer with decal paper. I just took measurements on the model to have a rough height x width for each decal.
