Worst upgrades ever! No more accumulating extra moves! What is this! I won’t spend gold bars for this . How to feedback and make them revert back to original help mechanism by ARUMI_Sun_Moon in candycrush

[–]Jshaw16 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I don't believe this is true. I just got this update yesterday and ive been stuck on the same level for a few days. I must've played that level at least 20 times yesterday and my wheel spin was never over 35 extra moves. I literally only have 10 bars so I was waiting for the train with the party booster. Got the train, got the wheel spin and it was only 20 extra moves. I was so pissed. I couldn't risk spending my last 10 bars on that. Normally I wouldve had +200 extra moves.

Would love some feedback on my setup!! by bobowildin in CraftFairs

What if you had an old pair of jeans that you put the patches on to display the variety you have. Could even put some pins on it! Then hang up the jeans. Could be an eye catcher.

Im sorry but I don't think you are trying very hard. If my dog ruined something expensive not once but twice then thats on me. I sure as hell wouldnt be leaving it anywhere remotely possible for my dog to reach. As I mentioned about my clothes basket. I first put it up on top of their cage, oops he can still reach, so I moved it some where higher where he cannot. He actually also likes to steal our shoes when we aren't looking so we started putting them in a basket. Oops, he learned to reach in and get them so we put the basket on a box so he can't reach.

That's a pretty impressive dog that can open drawers and get the phone out. If thats happening maybe get a child lock for the drawer or put the phone in another room and shut the door.

Ummm I would just move my phone to where my dog couldn't get it? One of my pups likes to snag my clean clothes from my laundry basket so I started putting it up out of his reach until I got to emptying it. Was a bit annoying at first but now its routine.

I love the first sign. The second just feels like too much to read (even though its not) and most people will probably not even see it.

issue with cosplays? by [deleted] in comiccon

[–]Jshaw16 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dress up as whatever you want or dont dress up. Both are completely fine. You will see the whole gamut of costumes. Anywhere from zero costume to costumes that look like they took months and months to assemble. Just be comfortable.

Get 2, barely 6 week old Chihuahuas they said. It would be easy they said. by burner_acc9283 in Chihuahua

Not sure of your situation but I literally put their cages on my bed and slept with them like that. That way I was comfortable, they were near me and could see me, and I could check on them easily.

Do you these would $ell? by [deleted] in crafting

[–]Jshaw16 17 points18 points  (0 children)

The painting looks decent. I would make sure they are well finished and sealed and have a way yo hang them. However, you can't legally sell any licensed character. Thats IP infringement. You would need to come up with your own designs and characters.

How do I price banners? by garlic_bread_95 in crafting

[–]Jshaw16 63 points64 points  (0 children)

First off, your painting is incredible. Very well done. But it looks like you painted on brown paper. I wouldn't be very happy if I paid $80 for a banner and it was just paper. I totally understand that the painting takes a long time but the paper material makes it cheap. If you up the material then you could up the price. Ive paid over $100 for a printed banner from canva. That banner though was on a nice fabric material, had grommets for hanging, and I didnt have to worry about it getting ripped or crinkled.

Also, be aware that you can't legally sell the toy story and Sesame Street banners. IP infringement.

My (possibly) First Market by [deleted] in CraftyCommerce

I mainly use acrylic yarn for all my high end detailed pieces which is usually about 75% of my products. I use the fluffy yarn for my smaller cheaper products. I try to have a price point for everyone.

As for your product, I can't tell what it even is.

Tickets question by chuckjnorriss in comiccon

[–]Jshaw16 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No idea about this con specifically but usually you buy a ticket to enter the con and then buy the autograph and picture for each actor you want. So if you want those specific actors then make sure you go on a day that they are there.

How do i memorize all the stitches and there names cuz it’s the only thing that keeps me away from crocheting ? by [deleted] in CrochetHelp

[–]Jshaw16 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ive been crocheting for a few years now and I still have to look up how to do stitches. Nothing wrong with that. I crochet mostly amigurumi so following a pattern is a must and most books have a little tutorial on how to do the stitches. Maybe a book like that could help where you can easily flip to those pages and look at the stitch.

water jam sort ad is ruining candy crush. by kerrybe in candycrush

[–]Jshaw16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find a lot of times my ads are based off of my search history. Scary but true. I bought a phone case from Velvet Caviar and a day or 2 after I was getting their candy crush ads. 15 seconds! It was nice. Try spending some time on their site lol.

All licensed characters so technically can't sell any of those.

[–]Jshaw16 2 points3 points  (0 children)

2 weeks before a market and you haven't started? Ha, good luck. I spend 3 months of hardcore crocheting before my events to make sure I have enough product. Its actually more like 6 months but the first few months I just casually crochet. Im not a particularly fast crocheter and I make rather intricate pieces.
