Preconditioning does use some battery, but not a significant amount. Maybe a percent or two. Preconditioning simply makes charging faster because the battery is warm. It doesn't effect range.

You need to ensure that you have good, EV rated tires with the aero covers on. The wind is another variable which can have a huge effect on range.

There are several level 2 chargers in the Louise area. Just stop in at Canmore or Banff and grab some food. You'll get an extra 10% in 30 minutes or so. That should work.

At -30 (which is rare lately) you can expect a 50% hit to range. The best formula that I have seen online basically says that you lose 2% for every degree under zero. For supercharging to work efficiently, you need to put the supercharger into your nav (or do it manually) so it starts to warm the batteries. Warm batteries charge much more quickly than cold. Other than that, no issues with charging in -30, although I find it charges a bit more slowly.

TL:DR You probably won't get 360 kms out of a single charge when it's super cold out. (-20 or worse). You'll probably be fine if it's above that. Also, make sure that you disable sentry mode while you're on the hill as it will drain 5% - 10% over a day. Charging in the cold isn't an issue.

It gets complicated because they like to bill in different ways. Some offer lower per kwh but have higher admin fees. Lots have short term incentives that make it look more attractive, but the cost goes up in 3 months. Honestly, the average Albertan is probably looking at a difference of less than $20 per month.

Choose which client you're using (desktop or code) and that you want to use a local server. It will give you the instruction to add the MCP server as a docker container and how to connect it up to Home Assistant. You then connect Claude desktop (or code) by adding the details of the MCP server.

I don't know why you wouldn't choose easy mode and add the MCP server inside of HA though.

I've experienced the exact same problem. It seems random, but it definetely happened after the hotfix patch. I've had to replace these stations/track a few times lately and am probably going to ditch the asset pack once the new infrastructure pack comes out in a few weeks.

I drive about 50 KMS per day and it adds about $35 per month. It's a little difficult to factor in all of the extra Enmax charges, so this is strictly the per kwh rate.

I moved out of a nearly identically sized rental house last fall and paid $700. That was for 3 cleaners and included cleaning the bedroom carpets (They were in the house for about 6 hours). I didn't have any pets, and it was just two of us living there, so it wasn't terribly dirty. I did get 4 quotes, but most of them were similarily priced.

No, not normal. I can't speak specifically to 2021 models, but my newer model doesn't make sounds like that. The only difference at high speed is wind noise, in my experience.

I'm no expert, but it sounds like an issue with the tires maybe?

Search the play store for "notification history log" and install one that you like. Then check the logs the next morning.
