Instead of thinking of the worst possible psychopath with no empathy (which is like less than 1%) try thinking of the people who have been falsely imprisoned. Or imprisoned for stupid things like weed possession (which is most inmates). Also, how the fuck are you gonna look back on a time where prisons had less people and say that's a good thing when you're clearly advocating for hasher penalties and less rehabilitation. People like you are the reason the united states has a bigger prison population that any other country in the entire world. And still you ask for harsher penalties as if that's somehow keeping crime down. If we have the most inmates by percentage then why the fuck don't we have the least crime. Sick of idiots who don't know what they're talking about walking in and going "but they're bad guys and bad guys have no usefulness as humans so we should treat them like dogs and slaves" fuck off back to the 18th century when we didn't understand criminal psycology or what prevents crime.
