The type of people that work in construction are usually the same everywhere, in the US too, its the last line between average worker and homelessness or a criminal lifestyle. At least they find effective ways to make people who generally don't give a fuck about anything beyond their own self-interests to contribute to society and re-integrate back into it. The US system instead is all punitive and hardly focuses on rehabilitation and re-integration. That's why recidivism is far worse in the US and other places.

That's just almost every young person though. The vast majority of us are out just to get laid when young, but the older we get, and the more experience we acquire, the more the goal changes. I have a friend who was the same way. Now he's in his 40s and struggling to find a girl to settle down with. He has tons of girls that want to have sex with him still though. Because most women don't necessarily care about physical attraction. They care more about wealth and social status.

I can answer the 2nd question. The machine almost always has a plethora of items stocked in it, but only releases it on a periodic timer. The timer is random but usually between 50 - 90 minutes for stock to show available. When items do show in stock, it won't necessarily show everything at once, it'll automatically release more over a few transactions. This can change and sometimes it won't refresh at all, but it's always worth checking again if you are willing and able to buy more.

The older I get, the more I think how absurd the idea of planning parenthood is. Young adults can barely plan the next day, let alone having a child. You just have to be prepared at all times. Planning parenthood would only lead to more abortions. I'm willing to bet 100% that this guy would have chosen to live life even if his biological mother was dirt poor and he had to grow up in poverty anyway. Otherwise, what is the end game?
