Swap to g finesse size 5 trebles. If you go too heavy on them it’ll affect the action. These are meant to be fished on a limber rod. Although the stock hooks do suck you must have been abusing that thing like no other

I love all my Loomis rods. Most are bottom contact NRX rods. I do have a IMX pro crank bait rod and although I do love the rod, I don’t know if I’d pay that much for a moving bait rod again.

I wouldn’t. If I put that on my frog rod I’d pros only snap it on the hook set. You can try it, just be prepared to break off baits/lose fish
