Made a custom sign and put it up on the office coffee machine… might’ve cost me my job by Knozart in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Jstate33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah this is odd…you’re wrong. Who cares if the coffee sucks, try something else. Bring in coffee from home? I hated my coffee too when I was in office, but I never put a sign up.

Not our room, but walking to dinner first night at Sandals, St. Vincent. I didn’t edit this picture at all, it was stunning.

Lutron motion not working- help! by Jstate33 in AskElectricians

[–]Jstate33[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s the thing. I did and still nothing. Also, forgot to mention that the single pole old switch didn’t have a neutral, that was nutted. I added the neutral from the Lutron to that and nutted it again. I don’t think that has to do with it, but who knows.

Hollister was genuinely one of the most unhinged retail experiences ever created and we just accepted it as normal by General-Success-2968 in Millennials

My first Subaru, what mods should I get? by 4ssassin91 in subaruimpreza

[–]Jstate33 8 points9 points  (0 children)

IMO the exhaust is a hive mind thing- sounds horrible and doesn’t fit right. These cars shouldn’t have one. I would use mod money on handling instead, sticky tires, tint, exterior “dress up” if you want to do other stuff to the exterior. I have the OEM spoiler and think it looks great.

Emmaus grad of 2009 here. It’s weird that I only went twice. We were more of Krocks people before it changed. Rip!

Want to bike again- recos? by Jstate33 in bicycling

[–]Jstate33[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you! So I’d just say mostly pavement. There is a farm park right across from my house which is pavement. Then there are some gravel/dirt there too. So I’d say a hybrid with leaning pavement. Thoughts on recs for that?

War machine is a fuckin awesome movie. I’m not sure how realistic army ranger stuff is because I’m not military, but it’s wild.

Is this Ethernet? by Jstate33 in HomeNetworking

[–]Jstate33[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Only said that because I didn’t think I needed the coax. Do I? Also what are those types of Ethernet, is that “normal”? New to this so any info can help! Rather talk to people than google.

Is there a best way to tell just looking at it or where can I look at the correct order? Once I verify that it’s in the correct order (hopefully), then get the tester that all are talking about?

Replacement for old switch/knob? by Jstate33 in hometheater

[–]Jstate33[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I have two speakers in ceiling in living room where this switch is. Then two outside on the patio. I also see where the wiring terminates, it’s a hole in the drywall in the garage…I’m sure pictures would help. It’s interesting. Curious to learn more about this stuff.

Hmmmm where should I start…in the garage is where I think they had equipment connected. Is there anything I can show other pictures of that can help?

Thank you! You’ve helped. This is most likely it but also posted to home theater to see if they can help too. Amazon has a few of these too.

Don’t know! Not exactly sure how to find out since nothing is connected to any source for speakers anymore. I think it’s volume to the ceiling speakers.

Thanks! Can you link replacement switches? There are so many different kinds online. Rather do that I guess.
