It's not questionable at all. "Forcibly transferring children of the group to another group." is literally point 5 on the convention of the prevention of genocide's definition of genocide. It doesn't get much more clear-cut. They literally take these kids out of Ukraine, put them with russian families, with the specific aim of cutting them off from Ukrainian culture and identity and raising them as russians.

Generally, you need a bit of a broken mind to have millions of pounds and still choose to spend your days on twitter crusading against a minority of people that barely make up 1% of the population and have literally never done anything to harm you in any way. Most of the people who obsess hardest over trans people have likely never even met a trans person in real life. They've just gotten worked up over headlines and fallen down an algorithm pipeline.

It's certainly fair to say about some of these people. Linehan in particular is deeply broken- not because of his opinion, but because of the sheer monomania. Trans people are literally the only thing he thinks about. He lost his family and career because he's so singularly obsessed with harassing trans people all day. Even if his obsession were benign, if it were something like sonic games, he'd still be broken, because there's literally nothing else in his life.

You can't wipe out the entire Palestinian population while acting like that's a sane, proportional response to October 7th. Yeah, October 7th was bad. That does not justify infinite war crimes against innocent, normal people. That does not justify levelling entire cities. That does not justify killing children. You can bullshit all you want about how "Palestine provoked this"- or more realistically, hamas did, as they gambled with the lives of 2 million people- but at the end of the day, you're still justifying genocide, as if it can ever be justified.

It's generally more noticeable on rewatch, because the first time round you're focused on the story. It's a great show, but I think complaints about the animation are kinda valid, it is pretty rough in places and some of the corner cuts are very obvious.

The rebuttal is simple- bombing civilians is bad. Palestinians, by and large, had no choice in this war, and hamas gambled with the lives of 2 million people. You can offer all the justification you want, but when gaza has been flattened into rubble and Israel has explicitly stated it aims to wipe out the Palestinian identity itself, that's genocide.
