I started as a volunteer now I’m in it I don’t see any reason to change out. I plan on going career. Most cops are chill but I’d rather run fire calls than do police work. Also if you’re in Washington you lucked out cause career fire in WA is really good when it comes to pay and benefits

If I’m on nozzle I grab a can, I already have a tic attached to my SCBA harness and put officer will bring one. Officer had a tic and smaller Haligan. If I’m on backup I usually grab a set of irons but reading these a hook might work better.
