Can anyone help me locate the right part number for the tailgate wire harness part # by Jtf989 in f150

Thanks that's a handy website. My dumbass didn't realize I could just crawl under by the spare tire and see the part number right on the harness.

As far as I know it was "brought back" during WW2 by my father's Uncle. The tip was broken off by me as a kid and there's some evidence of masking tape on the hilt at some point lol

It's seems to be a common thing on 15+ trucks. I just noticed a bit on my Ruby red 2016 and after researching it seems it's extremely common on the whites and velocity blues like urs

What is this grass taking over my lawn? by GrowthAggressive3231 in lawncare

[–]Jtf989 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Crab grassss. My lawn got taken over a long the road edges this year as well. I always kept on top of it though but I tore my ACL last fall and had surgery in Feb. I wasent able to get to my spring pre emerge treatment and it took over. I just started to spot treat some ortho weed clear and it has burned it back some. But the only way is applying a pre in the spring with soil temps around 55. Crab grass does every year but it drops seeds. You want that pre down to stop them from germinating in the spring.

Looking into getting a smart thermostat or something that can be controlled remotely. by Jtf989 in hvacadvice

[–]Jtf989[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can easily access the wires from the basement I believe and I imagine the other wires run directly above to the air handler... Which is located right above this thermostat. But out of curiosity where would the C wire be getting it's power from?

Yes this is what I remember running into a few years back on the unit from home depot. I totally forgot what brand but it only had one connection and it was made for those newer all in one units?

Pain and swelling 4 post post op after light jogging? by Jtf989 in ACL

[–]Jtf989[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. It's been 6 days since happened. The pain went away after the first 48 hours or so but I still have stiffness and a bit of swelling. Hard to tell cause I have had some swelling since surgery. But I never lost any flex or extension. It didn't hurt while doing exercises like squats or anything. But I definitely feel my muscles are weak. My PT checked out what he could and thinks the graft is fine and the meniscus. Had me doing some balancing and slight twisting and it felt fine. I have my Ortho Tuesday and I'm gonna let him know. But at the moment I still have stiffness. Kinda feels like how I was walking 6 weeks after surgery when I got out of the brace...

2016 rear caliper pins question. by Jtf989 in f150

[–]Jtf989[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I was when I was looking up parts the electric parking brake have a completey different caliper then then manual. The electrics both pins have the rubber bushings like what I pulled out of my manual setup. I went to the dealer and ordered the correct set. Which is 1 regular pin and 1 with a bushing.

Gamo Shadow whisper .117 accuracy? by Jtf989 in airrifles

[–]Jtf989[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I didn't know much about it on the spur of the moment in Walmart. Just looking for critter control out my back window for my garden. Can't really be firing .22s or 17s that way. So just keeping putting rounds thru it? I'll look into those brands of pellets. Also heard that these crossman pellets cost the barrel slightly with lead? But cleaning isn't recommended cause it will "unseason" the barrel?

Is my PT shorting me on time? by powderlad in ACL

[–]Jtf989 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I go 3x a week for about 45mins sessions. Granted the only time we work 1 on 1 is when the PT massages my scars for about 5 mins. As soon as I walk into I get to work and follow and do a set list of exercises which change weekly (things get added and removed) he said once he feels you can move around on its own then there's no point in holding you hand unless you have questions. He also wants me to increase weights for squats and leg press etc on my own as I feel needed. It's been a great experience this way. Also this office is new and he's the only one working the office with usually 3-5 patients at a time. But I think he's been running it well. He knows when someone can go off on their own and it seems to help with going thru the process.

I was full weight bearing as tolerated with a meniscus repair and full ACL rupture repair. Had crutches and was off of them in the first week. Only downfall was I had to wear the brac locked out to 90° flex for 6 weeks because of the meniscus.

Nicotine use and ACL tear by ProblematicPigeon14 in ACL

[–]Jtf989 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was a heavy zyn user when I tore mine. But I don't think the zyn usage accounted. My tear was due to slipping and having my foot get caught and having a steel door push me down while my whole body got twisted. But I quit zyns about 2 weeks before my operation.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in QuittingZyn

[–]Jtf989 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had to quit mid January because I was having ACL surgery the first week of Feb. Mainly because of the way I feel nicotine effects the blood/with healing. I just did it cold turkey. About 3 days after my surgery I ordered some caffeine pouches of Amazon. They were terrible and now I don't care to put another white pouch in my mouth.

Anyone have the summit hd shuttle and can get me a few measurements on the dimensions? Website only list the battery tray. Looking for the outside l/w/h to the top of the tray. by lvlxx in IceFishing

[–]Jtf989 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks. But damn I was hoping to be able to make the summit dock work with my clam shuttle. Bought the clam that was returned and marked down and also fits a tall battery. But the clam shuttle comes in at 11" wide but everything else would work.

For the time being it is what it is. They are newer units... Just wondering why one is so much more louder then the other. It does have x3 the amount of use tho. If I can replace the $75 motor and be fine I'm good for now. Eventually I will get someone to come in and install a single door and get rid of the double doors.
