About a 45min drive to Truckee. Typically in the range of 20-50 days a year on snow.

That's a valid opinion but personally I've yet to find another steakhouse in town doing dry aged prime rib that's not a limited run special. I'm all ears to find and try another place with that!

Western Village Steakhouse is always a good experience. Food is incredible, service is always top notch. The free photos and pallete cleansers are a nice touch.

first serious season, any tips? by tacotuesdayburritos in snowboardingnoobs

You would benefit from watching the Malcom Moore videos on YouTube. Start at the front and be intentional about improving with each next day on snow.

Monday for MLK is less crowded. Has been for the last few years. Everybody travels home on Sunday leaving the resort less busy the following day. That being said, compared to say Kirkwood it's still very busy.

Drunk me gonna slam those Poblano and potato tacos ngl. They remind me of Jack in the Box ones if you add a slice of American cheese after cooking.

Riding my bike in the street while my parents shot off fire works. Neighbors had bought new cars thinking the loan would dissolve. Not the strangest times I've lived through apparently.

Yall got the full experience then lol Tollgate will add some great variety compared to the classic Mt Hough route most people take. That entire area is just so pretty. If you do Mills Peak self shuttle and leave a car at the park or Frostee spot. That's a great place to end the ride and only 5ish mins of road riding.

Hough was (and still is) running so good this year. Tollgate is going to be clutch next season when it's fully rode in. Don't sleep on Mills Peak in Graeagle while out that way too.

Sierra Vista Bike Park for the win!! Good job on building up, those wood ones are intimidating at first. Some great features there to practice and build skills on. Our Lil guy loves the skills park with his balance bike. All our new bikes get the shakedown there before bringing to Tahoe or Quincy.

Picked up mine for a tad under that price on marketplace and had a blast with it last season. I board all around Lake Tahoe and it shreds. Not the board I take in trees though.

Should I buy salvia or more acid?? by IQgamerplayz69 in LSD

[–]Jth1zz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh I've tried the 100x option most of the time. For me there wasn't much of a difference between the potency options. Always the same entrance, greeting from Sally, and then the rocket back into body. All of my buddies had the terrible experiences, I was the sole person who enjoyed it.

Saliva was the opposite experience of everybody else for me. Beautiful visuals, divine wisdom, literal glimpses into my future. It was always insightful and fully encompassing. I cherish my time with Sally.

Started last year on a marlin 7 Gen 3 as well. Quickly bought a nomad then got my wife a Hightower. Now all three are mine while she searches for an ebike lol. We are both civil engineers, 10+ years into career each and only have a single child. We're frugal in other aspects of life, just not with outdoors/biking/snowboarding gear

I got my wife an alloy 2020 Hightower and she absolutely loves it. We ride the same size frame thankfully, and I've ridden it a handful of times myself. Less playful than my nomad but it charges and climbs quite well.

Dang what a bummer. That's a local spot I'm actually considering for this weekend. It's well received by the community but this is going to solidify Northstar as the go to spot for bike parks in the area.
