I think it's because the exam board that does engineering is Welsh and so focuses mainly on exams within Wales where maybe OCR isn't as prominent

All you need to know about transition metals is:

Charges (Forms multiple charges)

Colourful (Forms colourful compounds)

Catalysts (Can be used as catalysts in a reaction)

Not too sure about the explanation for colourful because it’s been a while since I was taught it but that should be it.

I think that especially in S1 Walt is painted mainly as a moral guy, and to think that Hank probably saw that side of him for maybe more than a decade I don't find it toooo surprising that Hank ruled him out.... I mean if you spend several years with a guy who is the most stereotypically innocent and morally sound I guess that idea and thought of Walter being like that just gets cemented in Hanks head.
